So many lovely members of the staff took a moment to say hello, ask if they could help, or gave us a moment of time to tell us history on the establishment. Food? Delicious, house made meats, beers, etc you can taste the craft. Ambiance? Cozy & modern, definitely a place we will be returning with or without friends!!!

Made reservations for Friday night and had fish fry which was classic beer battered along with rye bread, French fries and coleslaw and was very good. Service was great! Know that if you sit in the main area it can get loud with the high ceilings.

A majority of our orders had something incorrect. Our bills also were incorrect. She was nice though. Food was ok. Wish they had a fruit or yogurt option with their kids meals.

We unfortunately had a poor service experience. Our server was friendly, but bungled our order and then avoided our table. We finally received an appetizer after asking to have it cancelled. The server then took another drink order as we waited and forgot either to order or deliver. Another server came to the rescue and gave us a couple of drinks after trying to deliver our meals which were wrong. The second "rushed" order came out almost correct, and we were assured second correction would be out shortly....which it wasn't. I like the beer at Foxtown and have had better experiences--this was just a unfortunate failure of service. The original server did reappear and apologize and thank us for dining with them! They did comp us two beers that the 2nd server provided.

Foxtown is a go-to for good food, great atmosphere, and friendly people. It's our neighborhood favorite, hands down.

We have been here many times and always good but last night, October 5, 2025 was awful. Many times I've ordered the Ruben and it WAS my favorite. It was awful for my wife and me last night. Our waitress (new) Kiera (sp.?) failed to check on us after a delivery of food. Had to get up to get roll ups of silverware, and due to our other 2 guests, we couldn't send it back or their food would have gotten cold while waiting. When leaving, 2 waitresses and lady bartender said a LOT of complaints about that sandwich had started. The Annex said it was being made wrong and made kitchen switch to the awful, very fatty, hard-as-brick slab of corned beef vs. the cold-cut style and shredded beef it should be. So very disappointed with the poor service. Un attentive and we asked another girl for water-refills while she did her side work. We got there at 6:30 w/reservations and table was not ready, sat at 6:45 and were there til 7:45. In the early go, I spoke to the lady Mgr. who said the “runners” were knew and we saw them delivered inv wrong food to our table. I gave the waitress every chance and still gave her 22% against the tables guests comments. Do NOT IRDER THECRUBEN until they change it back. Well think about going back there again for awhile. Ruined our good spot to go and then see the music at the Annex. Josh U

Good food and nice atmosphere. Service was a bit lacking. Although we could clearly see ample staff, waited 10 minutes after being seated for anyone to come to table. Ordered drinks and food. Food arrived before drinks (had to ask for them).

Fun, loud place. Great brews. I had the Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken Salad was basically dry, very little dressing on it. Wife had Brisket dinner, was totally burned, hard, dry, bearly edible. Seemed like it was pulled from the fridge and zapped in microwave.
Great salads I had apple walnut salad with salmon and it was excellent. My mother in law had same salad with chicken. Also excellent!!! Service is great too.

Absolutely disappointed. We had a reservation at 4. Arrived at 3:55 and were immediately seated. After 20 minutes, no one had come over to even give us waters or take drink orders so we left. Terrible service experience. We watched many other tables get seated after us and receive service while we received no service.

Made it a point to stop back on vacation after a great experience last year. Most food was very good, but a couple items needed to be doctored up a bit to add more flavor (e.g. extra BBQ sauce on the pulled pork sandwich). Service was pretty good, but should not go 10 minutes with empty glasses when there are 8 patrons in the place at 4 different tables and 3 waitresses on the floor.
