This place is great! We're from out of town, but have been here few times, now. The staff is friendly and fun, and they get a top notch pizza to you pretty quickly. We've only had pizza so far, but it's been great every time. And it re-heats really well, too. It's nearly as good re-heated as it is fresh. We'll go back anytime we're in the area.
I only give a 3 for the atmosphere because it seems like it's more of a takeout place than a sit down place, but there's enough places sit if you want to eat in, as well. And it smells wonderful. It's not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable enough. And the food is awesome.

I am originally from Chicago, so when I want to eat pizza, I want the chi-town quality. Haha. This place really met my expectations. The pizza was really really good and reminded me of Chicago. The sandwiches and spaghetti were sooo good too. Kuddos to Leonardos!!! Looking forward to going back.

Ordered take-out... 3 12" pizzas and a pasta came out to 80$+ which is obnoxious imo! The pizza was no where near good enough for the price to say the least! I would not come back.

Leonardo’s brings a little taste of New York to Mequon with their authentic New York style pizza. This isn’t fast food, it’s genuine Italian cuisine!
The only problem is, with food this good everyone wants a slice. There’s nothing wrong with waiting for a great pie. That’s why you call ahead to place your order. But when you’re so busy your outgoing message says, “Thanks for calling Leonardo’s. We’re busy helping other customers. Call back later,” it’s safe to say, Domino’s starts to look a lot better.
If you can catch them when they’re able to answer the phone and take your order, it’s a good experience. If you get that, “We’re too busy to talk to you,” message then fast food may fit the bill.

Leonardo's is my favorite pizza in Mequon. We usually order carryout. Excellent crust, sauce isn't too sweet, fresh toppings, and everything smells right. NY style pizza done through the lens of Milwaukee. They're often so busy around dinner you have a hard time getting through on the phone to order. They do have hot sandwiches and other food including good lasagna. They are a regular order for our household.

If you love New York style pizza, then Leonardo's Pizza is worth a try. I've been eating here for some 35+ years and it's personally my favorite pizza. Nothing fancy, far from trendy, just a good honest and authentic NY Pizza for a decent price. Their sandwiches and appetizers are great too. One of the best carry out places around, but I love eating in their Dining area.

We’ve had Leonardo’s before and it was great. This time we ordered the pizza to support a school fundraiser, and it was the toughest crust we’ve ever had for a deep dish. The crust was hard to cut and even harder to chew. Not something we feel the need to try again any time soon.

The pizza is great! New York crust is crunchy and yeasty! Love their sausage. The side salad is straight forward, you can add banana peppers and what makes it so good that I have it EVERY time I eat there is the homemade vinaigrette!! My favorite go-to place in mequon for a quick delicious meal!
