THE GO TO PIZZA PLACE!

Went there with my wife since she had a $10.00 coupon that she received in the mail. We ordered a large thin crust cheese, sausage and pepperoni and a order of garlic bread with a coke and diet coke. Pizza came out and was very hot. It reminded us of another pizza place that we usually go to in Cedarburg called Tomaso's. They also make there pizzas with cheese on first, then sauce, and then the add on's. We very much liked the pizza in which we had at Mequon Pizza Co. Unfortunately the garlic bread we ordered never came out with the pizza. I said to our server that we also had garlic bread coming. But, that was as far as it went. No garlic bread. Paid for our meal and told them to deduct the garlic bread since we never got it. In which they did. Ordering was also done at the bar, drinks, and payment. Just like Tomaso's. No big deal. Just might be back sometime. Personal needs to be more in touch with what they are doing on serving orders on what people get.

The only reason I'm putting a 4 for service is the young staff try hard but sometimes come off rude. The older staff are amazing and the food makes up for any issue with service you will have!

We live in the area and used to frequent here. We have the punch cards to prove it. Had not been in years and once our last punch card of a free pizza is gone, doubt we'll be back. 4PM yesterday. Meatball sandwhich was great and hit the spot. Salad was served with about a one ounce cup of dressing for a nice sized side salad. I asked for extra french dressing from the bartender and she promptly brought it out without comment (on price). Now here come the good part....get the bill and see a 95 cent charge on it. I asked what this was for since we only ordered two entrees. I was told it was for extra dressing that I ordered. I was stunned and said really....now you are charging for dressing on a salad? I have never in my life been so nickel and dimed by a restaurant. The bartender had terrible soft skills and immediately took an attitude and saying, well prices are up everywhere. I said I understand and prices are up (including the entrees since my last visit), but that was not the concern. I was not informed, it is not the extra buck it is the BAD ATTITUDE and lack of INFORMATION. No different than the trend of upcharging 3% for "credit fees" If you need to raise 95 cents, raise the price of the f'ing sandwhich 50 cents and one of two people may then need it. What a joke. You used to be one of few restaurants in town. Guess what.....that is no longer the case. Food is still good, service you serve yourself so what do I say...I have no problem with that. But the VERY few touchpoints with an actual employee and we get hosed. She was very friendly to the regular drunk at the bar I will say.

Apparently they recently changed how they put the toppings on the pizza! They build the pizza; crust, very tiny amount of cheese, then sauce on top of the cheese; which they stated can't be changed, then the pepperoni on top. This configuration I've never heard of before, so we were extremely turned off. Traditionally, sauce is placed on the crust, then pizza sauce, then cheese and additional toppings. Needless to say, we will not be returning here in the future. When we asked to build our pizza our way (the correct way), they stated changes can't be made. What happened to getting things made the way the customer wants? Poor customer service!

(August 2024) The food was good and the service was great, but the staff ripped me off afterwards. After ordering online, I went to the restaurant to pick up my order. I signed the credit card receipt for $179.22 which included a $28.55 tip. When I received my credit card statement at the end of the month, my card was charged $187.18. Shame on the employee who did this. I'm never coming back.
EDIT: Kudos to Nick for responding to this quickly, and I'll return as a customer when I visit Cedarburg again. He sent me a screen shot of Mequon Pizza sending a $179.22 charge to my credit card company. But it's still a mystery to both of us how I was charged $187.18. Not worth pursuing any further in my opinion.

We ordered a pick up pizza. In ordering on line the site says extra cheese as an option. We assumed it came with cheese. It did not. The crust is not a true pizza crust. Thicker and hard. It reminds me of some premade ones from a store. Not returning.

Different how you need to order from the bar, then wait at your table. But that's the way the restaurant industry has evolved. Cut the wait staff from tipping and give it straight to bartenders, runners, and/or buseres

Awesome place, great food, great atmosphere. We’ve been here a few times with our kids and it’s always a blast. The pizza and sandwiches are amazing. Good beer selection. Family friendly.
Dietary restrictions: My dad’s gluten free and they had plenty of options. I tried a slice of gluten free pizza and it was actually pretty darn good.
Kid-friendliness: Great place with high chairs and boosters.
