Mr. B's - A Bartolotta Steakhouse - Mequon

The food was delicious and the ambience was great. This was my first visit and will be visiting again!!!

We reserved. an early dinner on Easter Sunday and did not realize they were serving a limited, somewhat overpriced, fixed price menu the entire day, something we don't believe was mentioned on opentable nor was it when the restaurant called to confirm our reservation. That was a disappointment, since the what was being offered in the required three course meal left some in our party with limited choices and not what we would have picked had the full menu been offered. That said, what we did have was for the most part tasty, with the exception of the disappointing Caesar Salad, and the service was wonderful. It was our first and possibly the last time we visit this establishment.

I tried something and boy was I happy I did. The Cauliflower Steak was so delicious, loved the variety of vegetabls that came with it, they were roasted to perfection. I was glad the fennel flavor was mild. I had the Brown Butter Cake for desert, it was the best desert I have ever had at Mr. B's despite the poached pear being too hard. The cake was moist and not too sweet, just right. I can't wait to go back for it again.

We went to have dinner for my birthday. The food was perfectly prepared both mine and my husband‘s. I had the fillet Oscar style and he had the boneless ribeye. We also enjoyed a salad which they split for us, and maple glazed carrots. They brought out a delicious Dessert, complementary with a happy birthday card. We'll definitely be back .

I expected more from this restaurant. Thankfully we had a 150 gift card. Total bill was 275. Steaks were good, but nothing super special. Lobster Mac was on the drier side. The side of potato's that we got were under seasoned. The scallops and crab cakes we got with our combo steak were very lackluster. Scallops were barely seared, crab cake was mushy. The ambiance was alright, but the table (two top) was extremely small, and our table was probably one foot away from the table next to us. It felt weird. I could hear everything they were talking about. The table behind me was positioned so that when we were both seated, there was almost no room for people to walk between our two tables, so my chair was constantly being bumped into. I ended up moving closer to the window behind my wife to try to widen the gap, but it didn't really help much. The servers were very robotic, no small talk. Just took our order. For an “upscale” dining place, the whole experience left a lot to be desired. Im usually excited to go to a bartolottas restaurant, and I was earlier in the day, but after we left, I just felt unfulfilled. Probably wouldn't come back.

Everything was outstanding! Apps, steak & scallops, tavern steak, our server split the wedge salad which had nice chunks of blue cheese that I love, loaded baked potato with good size bacon pieces, cheesey & oh so good. Perfect portions & wonderful Caymus wine. Creme brulee & ice cream. Emily was an amazing server. What's not to like?

Great dinner and service. Would love to see some more specials but as usual everything was great.

Came to celebrate our 29th anniversary (even noted when we made reservations) and were greeted by a young lady who welcomed us. We had the honor of meeting the host who was obviously too busy to look up and welcome us. He only barked at the young hostess and we were quickly seated. Upon being seated water was poured and we sat….for 15 minutes waiting to place an order for drinks and appetizer. Drinks and appetizer were seconds apart. We sat for another 15 mins after we finished to order dinner… we were never told about specials not even sure there were any. The steak sandwich I ordered at best was a 3/10 if you like garlic aioli get this because this is what it should be named. Because there is a limited amount of “steak” on the garlic aioli sandwich. My wife ordered the seafood bisque which tasted like it was made on Thursday (this was Saturday) was brown and tasted of beef broth. Not to mention the shaved brussel sprout salad tastes like old vegetables with goat cheese. We told our server about the displeasure we had and were given a custard dessert for our inconvenience and being patient Once dinner was finished we waited for our check 25 mins!!! 20 mins after we gave her the CCl after we finally were able to get the bill and leave. 45 mins to pay a bill? YOU COULD SWING A CAT THROUGH THE DINING ROOM!! Not even a mention of an Anniversary.. Mister B’s has lasted on the name for a long time, sure had me fooled I thought the quality and service were supposed to be good? Not even remotely close gang…

Perfection! Loved the food! Our server Rylee was so nice. My husband and I ate here for our 10 year anniversary and were not from the area. It was incredible ❤️

Good but over priced. I shouldn't have to pay 15.00 for a small side salad when I'm already paying 82.00 for my entree. A small salad should be included with an entree. You're too pricey. We would've gone elsewhere but our Anniversary fell on a Monday this year and other places weren't open.

Service was fantastic and attentive. Calamari appetizer was lightly breaded with good flavor and large portions. Filets were good but needed some seasoning. Prices have increased significantly since our last visit

Came in from out of state. Though kind of pricey, food, beer, and service was great.
