Mr. B's - A Bartolotta Steakhouse - Mequon

I hate to say, I am a big lover of Bartolottas , but this is the third time in the last year where the steak was just okay. The service was excellent. You guys must have found a new supplier with less superior meats. It was cooked perfectly temperature wise, but the quality of the meat was not good. Such a shame as I LOVE your restaurants. I knew Jake and spoke to him often, but quality has gone downhill. Sorry

Amazing meal and great service. We decided to do the Porterhouse for two. It was delicious and cooked perfectly to our liking.

This was hands down the best steak I have ever had. The crust on the top and the butter soft texture was incredible. The service with Sheena, Dina, and Marina was phenomenal. The bread was soft and delicious and the mushrooms were next level. We will most definitely be back and enjoyed it thoroughly. The anniversary dessert was even more special and unexpected. Class act all around

Bartolotta restaurants In the Milwaukee set the bar high. This is no exception. All expectations were exceeded including ambiance, service, presentation, food quality and taste. Not inexpensive. Worth the price. Highly recommended.

My husband and I ate at Mr. B's on 08/23 for the first time in years and the experience did not disappoint. Our servers were pleasant and attentive and our meals were great. We had the large filet and ribeye and split the wedge (plenty for 2) as a starter. While I stuck with a traditional baked potato, my husband had a potato dish that had what appeared to be broiled potato wedges with bacon and onions. Highly recommend for date night or any special occasion.

Great time and food. Only complaint is that our table was too small - next time I'll request a booth.

The food and service were very good. Excellen t atmosphere. Both of our steaks were medium; Ordered medium rare. In our opinion, restaurant is overpriced. There are better options for less $$$

It took forever for someone to take even our drink order. Then it took such a long time for us to get our food. Checking in on us was very minimal. I wouldnt go back, especially being a higher end resturant, it wasnt good.

They did not tell us when we booked reservations or when we arrived, they had no draft beers as their system does not work when it is too hot??? then when my husband asked for a bottled beer he might try they did not have that. His expensive steak was medium well not medium rare... Calimari and halibut were good. waitress was pleasant and attentive.... did not feel this met the qualities of being a high end restaurant.

I picked this place because my companion likes seafood. He ordered a steak and was not happy with the way it was cooked. He ordered it medium well but it was well done. Even before he cut into it, we could see the black trim on the outside.

My husband and I enjoyed an early Sunday evening dinner. Our servers were outstanding. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the ribeye was just right. I recommend the Lychee Elderflower Martini that is currently the cocktail menu-delicious!

We were staying in the area for a 25th anniversary getaway and tried Mr. B’s on a chance. We definitely were not disappointed. I had the fillet and hubby had the ribeye well done. We split the wedge salad and their special veg (creamed corn), both of which were recommended and absolutely delicious! Applause to the chef. This outranks the steakhouse restaurants closer to home-Fleming’s, Steven’s, Eddie Merlot and others. We will be back in the future, the only downside is the distance but we may try the one in Brookfield too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are local and haven’t yet discovered or are staying in the area.
