Had an incredible night at Lil Tuna. Chef Riley and the crew absolutely hooked it up — every dish was next level. The staff was super knowledgeable and walked us through each course like pros. We didn't just eat amazing food, we learned about it too. Great energy, great conversation, and an overall awesome vibe. Can't wait to go back and can't wait to see what Cristean and Chef Jason are cooking up at their new omakase restaurant, Nakama.
Great experience--excellent sushi, watching Chef Jason prepare our sushi while sitting at the sushi bar was also great, and the server was kind and welcoming and had great suggestions. Highly recommend for creative and tasty sushi!
We had a wonderful time at Screaming Tuna, celebrating our 15 year anniversary! Everything was simply an amazing experience, from the service to the food and special additional touches - truly a great time! Our server Bucky, welcomed us with complimentary sake for our anniversary to kick things off. Then came the delicious food, which was expertly crafted and tasty! Bucky and team went another step above and beyond by writing out "Happy Anniversary" on the plate for one of the rolls - it was very touching. Luis worked his magic when we requested some off-menu offerings which were so awesome! We don't get out much so when we do, we really hope to have a fun and unique experience, along with ensuring delicious food - all of that was accomplished, well done Screaming Tuna team!
Food was very good. Service was decent, not impressive. If you don't give free refills because soda is canned then let the guests know BEFORE you bring a refill with the can the second time. No one appreciates getting charged twice unless they are aware ahead of time. No special frills or free app or dessert for anniversary was mildly disappointing. Food was solid. We will return
Top notch service and sushi!
We had a great time at Screaming Tuna in Mequon. The Pork Belly Tonkotsu was delicious and the pork belly had a perfect ratio of meat and fat. The crab chipotle wontons were a great twist on a traditional crab rangoon. The rolls we had were fantastic as well. Very pleased and we will be back.
Hidden in the cutest food market we've been to; This is sooo good it will ruin all your future sushi experiences in the best of ways!! Bravo!!!
This experience was without a doubt one of the best meals my wife and I have had in years. The time, attention, service and flavors were unbelievable. Chef Jason, Vega and their staff did an excellent job creating an engaging atmosphere and a menu we wanted to stay for round 2. This Omakase experience proves why Jason won Sushi Masters!! Thanks for an amazing evening!!
We went for the Weekend at J's omakase experience and couldn't have been more impressed! The quality of fish was outstanding and Chef Jason was so personable, as was the more staff. This intimate dining experience was incredible and we can't wait to see what Screaming Tuna and Chef Jason do next
Since it was our first visit, we ordered the sushi for two. It was a great value with three roles and ten pieces of nigiri. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great value and experience.

Long time fan of Screaming Tuna! Always serving up fresh and delicious sushi. The Screaming Tuna Signature roll is my go-to roll and absolutely always need to start with a Crispy Spicy Tuna. Vibes are always good. #1 sushi spot in my book.

I learned about Chef Jason Morimoto from Chef Masaharu Morimoto's Sushi Master, and I have always been curious about Chef Jason’s flavor combinations since the judges on the show constantly made comments about how they’ve never tasted anything like his dishes before.
It’s really fortunate that Screaming Tuna Mequon started offering Chef Jason’s omakase “Weekend at J’s” on my birthday week and it felt like the right occasion to try his Sushi Master title winning food.
He definitely didn’t disappoint. Each of the 14 courses was a thoughtful exploration of taste, texture, and presentation, curated by a chef whose precision and creativity shone through every bite. Chef Jason shared stories about each course and brought the ingredients to life, his passion for his craft evident in every precise cut and thoughtful pairing.
With the intimate setting, every dish felt like a conversation with the chef, revealing not just skill but a deep respect for ingredients and tradition, with just enough innovation to keep things exciting.
This omakase was a masterpiece, and I’m excited to see what Chef Jason will craft next time.

First time eating at the Mequon location. It was a terrific experience. A great Fathers Day for me and my family.
Well organized & fun place to eat dinner. Server was beyond reproach. Food was delicious and visually appealing. Small area (25 seats). Celebrity chef Jason Morimoto (winner of Masuhara Morimoto's Sushi Masters season 2) was present but didn't spend anytime greeting the customers. Seemed to be focused on 1 table. Would have been a thrill to just have him stop at the table for 30 seconds.... Will definitely go back!
Food was absolutely amazing! Seating was very cramped. An event was being held upstairs and was incredibly loud. We could hear the best man's speech clear as day. Making table conversation impossible.
