This was our first trip to this location (we usually go to the one in the 3rd Ward). We didn't know it was inside the Mequon Public Market but it turned out to be excellent. The service from Allie (sp?) was great and the food was, as always, delicious! I would highly recommend the Screaming Tuna specialty roll. ⭐️

Did you know that today, one of the chefs here was featured on a cooking show? My respect and congratulations to the team’s recent achievements!I really value how this location has interesting Japanese art books for purchase as well as Screaming Tuna T-shirts. How perfect for a super cute date! I suggest dining in this cozy restaurant earlier on a Thursday night. After choosing the Hyashi Wakame and miso soup, I’m excited to taste the high quality freshness of the seafood and grateful for a coworker’s recommendation to stop in. I now pass this enthusiasm to you!Excellently prepared and beautifully decorated with careful traditional presentation, I’m proud to learn of the ongoing success of Screaming Tuna!I admire your high level of focus and creativity! Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing you again soon! ??

I have never had a bad roll here and every single employee has been polite and helpful. This is my go-to place for sushi.

I’ve gotten food here for a couple years and always loved their vegetarian sushi. However, last summer I got the same order I normally do and got very bad food poisoning. I suspect there was some kind of cross contamination or the veggies/rice in my sushi had gone bad. I’ve been hesitant to order from here since.

The food hall is a nice location but you can't expect the full experience. Still the staff was super nice, helped to accommodate my elderly mother. All of the food was fresh, well presented and well prepared.

We had an enjoyable first visit to Screaming Tuna in the Mequon Public Market. It was our first time in the market too - plenty of space, clean, bright, pleasant. I absolutely love the mural on the wall done by (former) local artist Taylor Herzog. We have been to the Screaming Tuna in downtown Milwaukee and their sushi is good, so the Mequon location matched expectations. The Spicy Tuna roll we ordered was good but nothing mind blowing. The Tonkatsu Ramen was good as well, but also nothing mind blowing. The flavors could have used a little more variety from the add-ins. The pork belly was a little overdone and dry vs tender and melt-in-your-mouth like you'd usually find. A solid bowl of ramen. The service was pleasant and helpful! We enjoyed our visit over all, and we would definitely go back if we were in the area. The public market is nice and has options for everyone.

Ordered online because phone line continuously busy. Ordered buddha roll and several others. While the others were correct and good, they subbed out the buddha with a cheap shrimp tempura and crab salad roll. I hate crab salad, and the buddha roll is almost $20…since the phone line is busy, there is no way to get a refund. Will not be eating here again any time soon.

Food is authentic and excellent. Service is adequate at most. Food takes tooooo long. On our first visit, Our waitress was sweet but lost her sticky note where she had written our order after we waited 45 min. for food, then another 1/2 hour for it to come. After enjoying the good food that finally arrived, we couldn't order more when it was finished in 15 minutes because they had closed the kitchen and didn't give us last call. We have gone back only for take-out which was delivered by same waitress who was very apologetic about 1st experience (we just moved here from out-of/state), and although it still took a long time to cook, was excellent. No better sushi and variety in town for this California man. I'll keep going back. Pricey, though.

Rude waitress and staff not sure because we’re not white. Walked away when ordering and take the menu right away when still

I visited Screaming Tuna in the Mequon public market because I was in the area and craving Ramen. I went around lunch time and was able to add some shrimp into my ramen which I'm happy about because it was the best thing I ate there. I wasn't a fan of the ramen. It lacked flavor- I had the mushroom ramen as they were out of the pork belly. I would venture to guess the pork belly ramen is more tasty. I also had some spicy tuna which was good. I tried a bit of my friends appetizer and nothing really stood out to me. I will say the service was a positive as my friend forgot to order something without seafood to accommodate her allergy and they remade it right away. This might've been a time where I just ended up ordering the wrong thing.

**Update**Revisited for a friend's birthday because she was set on Ramen. The ramen was delicious . Crispy tuna and crab wonton appetisers absolutely awesome . Our server was attentive and welcoming, though perhaps slightly overwhelmed with multiple tables. Still no real wasabi, unfortunately. And the sushi/sashimi is still the weakest link here. The potential for this place is huge - there are very few (almost zero) options for ramen or sushi nearby - a few tweaks could go a long way ‍.

I had the lunch roll special and it was very good. My colleague had the larger lunch special with Shushi and he was pleased with it. Miso was excellent as was the seaweed salad which I ordered extra. Lacking was the ginger with my lunch but upon asking it was delivered. That's unusual for Screaming Tuna in my experience. The restaurant is in an alcove in a large building without sound baffles. We could not have a conversation it was so loud. I'll certainly be back but next time I shall bring a book. Great place for wonderful food but certainly not a meeting place if conversation is an important component.

So many great gluten free options. Lots of things I have never been able to try before. Gluten free soy sauce is provided if you ask, even to go. Prices are really reasonable. Tried the blackened octopus today and it was amazing. Will have to come back to try drinks
