I had a rare night out with my mom and we were very excited to finally check this place out and have a glass of wine together. We arrived around 6:45pm or 7pm. The door was open and we walked in. Apparently there was a private party going on and the person behind the bar was extremely rude and told us that and also said the door had been closed, which it was not. They then walked us out and closed the door behind us. No apology, no kindness... very curt and rude. I'm not one to write reviews but how the message was delivered to us was the opposite of friendly and it was extremely disappointing after we traveled 15 minutes specifically to go there together on one of the few nights I have off. I don't think I'll ever go back. We ended up at Ruby Tap and the people there were very pleasant and service was wonderful.

Nice place. Perfect size bar for the location, It has a few tables inside. It has lots of items you can buy in the store. You go in next door for food. Strip mall setting.

The live music was way too loud for the size of the bar and ruined the experience... they did happen to have a scotch I enjoy.

This a great place to visit. The drink I chose was very good and the bartender was very nice and friendly. Inside is beautiful and comfortable. I definitely will be returning again in the future. Look forward to trying more drinks at SIP, hopefully soon!

My boyfriend and I went here about a week ago and It was absolutely amazing. When we walked in we were greeted right away, and shown to our seats. Different selections of wine along with a little treat to accompany them were laid out for us. There also was a piece of paper with information about each wine on the table. The wines were absolutely lovely! Not only that but the ladies were so welcoming, and joyful! We will definitely be back.

SIP MKE has become our favorite place in Mequon for a glass of wine and great conversation. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about wine and make wine tasting approachable no matter your level of experience. They also serve a lengthy list of beers and custom made cocktails if that's your thing. Be sure to check their event calendar for a variety of entertainment options including great live music, specialty tastings, and open mic nights.
