My friend and I had a salad, hers with chicken, mine a Caesar with shrimp. Excellent. My dressing was homemade. Our server, Roberta, was a total treat. She played right along with us and our funny responses to her comments and questions. I've been a Spanky's diner for around seven years and am delighted when friends want to meet there.

Went here on a Saturday night in October 2024. Solid dive bar. They have a pool table and some tvs. Not much else to say. The bartender was pretty drunk, at one point she left the bar for 5 minutes and no one knew where she went.

A great dive. Mostly locals and decidedly working class, or unpretentious if you prefer that euphemism. Either way a food place to get a drink, eat good bar food, and maybe make some friends.
