Try the lobster bisque; creamy and delicious. Entrees were also delicious. Our waitress Kellie was upbeat and on the ball. It was a nice evening.
The food is great! However, all the courses were served on top of one another. Received appetizer and 2 minutes later, lobster bisque. 2 minutes after that, our entrees. We ate the soup while it was hot. Meanwhile, our entrees became cold. Please don't rush your customers and give them a bit of time to enjoy the course you just served. We will return as the food is that good. We may have to order one course at a time and finish it before ordering another.
Our food was delicious. Our server Robert checked back frequently to see if we needed anything. That's why we keep going back.
Overall the food was phenomenal. It was extremely busy and the service was decent but not impressive. The hostess was not very welcoming and refused to seat a party of 3 until all members of the party were there (which only worsened the massive flux of people crowded in the small entrance). She was also busy putting silverware into napkins - not the most befitting thing for a hostess. Otherwise the food rocked so we will return for that.
Everything was Fantastic: Sea Bass Mahi Mahi Sandwich Walleye Fry-The BEST! someone actually ordered a Cod Fish Fry and wasn't from England -Shocking Colleen was our server-EXCELLENT, Apps were Oysters, food on time and all Accurate orders-Bravo, we enjoy Colleen she is so entertaining! Kyle bartender, Fast and Efficient took my drink order before we sat down! AMAZING SERVICE, Thanks Kyle
I really wish I would have gotten her name, but we had the best server I've ever had - anywhere. She was wonderful, so nice and attentive - great personality. A pro!
Madeline was our server and did a great job. We had the bay scallops and calamari for an appetizer. Main meal was the special colossal shrimp, the Atlantic salmon and perch fish fry. All were great. They now have ice cream for dessert. We had the Door County Cherry and it was fantastic. Lots of cherry 🍒 pieces. 😋😋.
We have dined here before and loved it which is why we returned bringing another couple who had never been here before. The diet cokes were flat! Absolutely no carbonation. When we informed our waitress she stated they had been having a problem with it....then why not say that when it's ordered? I ordered the shrimp tacos and requested NO pickled onions on them. However, they arrived full of them! My friend ordered broiled cod. The waitress took the order then returned to inform us that they only had fried breaded cod. Which my friend said ok then. When the dinners were served, there were only 3 dinners. That cod fish fry wasn't served. We were at least a quarter done with our meals before the fourth dinner arrived. Very disappointing experience
Our server, Owen, was wonderful and the food was great. I was a little annoyed that after reserving a table for nine and being 5 minutes early - we were told that we could not be seated until the rest of our party got there. Really, I make a reservation expecting to cost me $500 and I can't sit down a few minutes before the others arrive to have a glass of wine. Makes no sense to me, you weren't going to give the table away to anyone
Food was delicious! Great value ! Soups and appetizers were so good! We had clam chowder and lobster bisque. The grouper cheeks so yummy!

Has a great selection, we had crab legs and the were excellent. Want to go back and try the crab cake sandwich.
We were promptly seated and attended to from out waiter. Our entrees of fried cod, and seared scallops were cooked to perfection. The margarita's were tasty, and the ambience was delightful. We were very pleased with every aspect of our dinner. It was our first time at St. Paul's Fish Co., and we are positive it will not be our last. Two thumbs up!
Food was delicious. Tried the fish tacos and they were great. My husband ordered his go to shrimp with mixed vegetables which is always delicious
Food was great as always! The fish fry was crispy and golden and for someone who isn't a lobster fan, their Bisque has turned me around! Looking forward to our next visit
Date of visit: July 9, 2025 We came here for our anniversary as a friend of ours just raves about the lobster rolls. We made a reservation and was glad that we did as it was pretty busy. There was both indoor and outdoor seating and we actually would have preferred to sit outside but were not given the option. Our waitress, Val, was great, and really the highlight of the meal. We started with the calamari and you could definitely tell that the breading was of high quality, the actual meat was decidedly less so; it was fairly rubbery and needed a lot of the sauce to make it more palatable. I went with the aforementioned lobster roll and it was a mixed bag: The roll was very good, and the lobster was plentiful, but I was not aware that the scallions would be in the roll as they are not mentioned on the menu, an odd miss in this day and age of food allergies and sensitivities. The fries that accompanied the lobster roll were underwhelming, a bit limp and lacking in flavor. I wouldn't say that I would not come back, but I'd likely give some other seafood spot a try first before returning to St Paul Fish in Mequon.
