Stones Throw Super Club is now The Hungry Frog. Don't know if it changed ownership or just the name.

My husband and I were here on a Thur evening. Less busy than the weekend, it is a matter of preference but the breaded deep fried shrimp batter was less than desirable. (More of a smooth hush puppy) batter, not the light crunchy batter I was used to. The actual shrimp was excellent though. Dining room was cold, bring a sweater. Staff very friendly, prices reasonable for the quality food.

Absolutely great food, great service too! All American dining in Hatfield, WI. Very impressed with the quality and will return for sure.

We stopped here to eat based on very favorable on-line reviews and because we were staying nearby. It definitely has the supper club atmosphere and vibe, but was woefully understaffed. After waiting 45 minutes enjoying very reasonably priced cocktails at the bar, we were finally seated. Getting our order placed took about 20 minutes and the food took about an hour thanks to a supposed fire in the kitchen. My wife's steak arrived cold, my son's burger was greasy, but my fish was excellent. After waiting so long, I hesitated to say anything about her steak, but eventually did. The proposed solutions were: remake it, reheat it or just bring out some au jus. A remake would mean a long wait and eating separately, reheating was likely to make a medium-rare steak anything more than that and au jus was a placebo. Maybe we caught them on a bad night.

We had the surf and turf since they were out of prime rib for the night. Very good value but the ribeye lacked seasoning it was very bland. The lobster tail was large and was the star of the meal. Their bread is fabulous but the salad dressing was over salted. The staff are troopers for staying after hours to make sure everyone that came to eat was fed. Make sure to get the dessert though that was 5+ stars delicious.

Show up early. Food and staff are great. Don’t be in a hurry and enjoy your company and drinks. Great night out to wind down from a productive week.

Nice Saturday night out, drinks at the bar, breaded mushrooms appetizer, king cut prime rib medium rare, followed by brandy Alexander and cheesecake to go.

I have been to stones throw before and it's been good but this time was very disappointing. My husband and I both had the fibeye steak which was $28 each. Both steaks were very tough. Not even edible. Someone else at our table also had the ribeye. Same thing. You couldn't even chew them. If you charge $28 then you should have a quality steak. I told the server and she said she will pass lt in to the cook. I should have asked for the steaks to be taken off the bill.

We were seated right away upon our arrival at 4:30 p.m. my husband ordered the ribs and baked potato. The ribs were fabulous he said but his baked potato was ice cold. I ordered the shrimp plate with waffle fries and my waffle fries were not done. Had the spinach salad with hot bacon dressing and that was delicious. We may try it again!

Prime Rib was delicious and the old fashioneds were spot on. Unfortunately our waitress was horrible. It took over an hour to get our food. We figured out our waitress forgot to turn in our order. Instead of owning up to it she straight up lied about it. First time ever of leaving no tip. Place has good food but if this is the type of wait staff I doubt they stay open.

Same bad experience as the one from a year ago. Knowing they have new owners, we tried to go back and try again. We asked again to sit outside (expecting that accommodations were being made due to ongoing Covid-19 pandemic), calling right when they opened. Told they were short staffed and couldn't do carry out as they were expecting a couple large groups of 25. They could have offered to let me pick up my order at maybe an hour or so later, which would have been fine, but they didn't offer that or anything else. I hung up and we went down the road to the Riviera instead (very accommodating, good food, left a nice tip for the server to show our appreciation). Passing by the Stone's Throw parking lot (within 15 minutes of their opening), we saw about 7 customer vehicles there. My wife called immediately, asking if we came in, would we be served. They said there was a wait list (how can that be when they just opened and didn't take reservations? How do you get on a waiting list if you're not eating inside a restaurant that doesn't take reservations and all you want is carry out? We even would've left a nice tip for that.). My wife also was told they had told me there was a wait list when I called (not true, I called when they opened). DURING COVID, CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE AND REMOVE YOUR CARRYOUT OPTION AND EXPLAIN HOW UNWILLING YOU ARE TO MAKE ANY ACCOMMODATIONS FOR CUSTOMERS. Until then, I guess we're done with trying to support them with our business.

Food great as always. Been going here for 22 years, 3 different owners and it has always been wonderful!

Directly across the street from where we stayed this trip. Cannot say enough about the employees (especially Kelly (sp?) and atmosphere!! We absolutely loved it , from my hand cut ribeye and the wife's salmon to the bread and appetizers , it was all amazing!
