Enjoyed the casual atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting in the dining area which was quieter than the room with the bar. We had a great server who was attentive throughout the evening. We all had salads which were generous portions and tasty.

I have not been in here since it was OTR, I heard great things about the food so my family and I gave it a try tonight—I was super impressed with the food, the portions were large and delicious. Our waitress was extremely friendly and proficient and juggling waitressing and bartending.

Worst service ever! Was at our table 2 full hours, ordered but never got a bite of food, not a lie! Other table nearby sat after us, got drinks, got apps, got fish frys. All we got was our own drinks at the bar brought back to our table. Finally got up and left, received some unwanted lip from server at that time. At least one other table hacked off as well. Never again! Clearly more interested in carry-outs.

Bar or BarN? Went a few weeks ago for the fish fry. Fish was great but bartender was constantly gone and drinks sat empty more than once. Someone brought a dog in the bar. Bartender runs to pet it but then Never washed her hands after! Gross! Tried again last night and same girl there with skin tight leopard pants. Again drinks sat empty because she was to busy eating off someones plate to notice. Food was cold and well below average.

I originally stopped in for a carry out and had ordered the Angus burger. When I noticed that several people had ordered a Fish dinner. This is when I found out that although the online menu does not show Friday fish fry they do have one. It should be noted that when it comes to fish I am very difficult to please. However, the fish look very good so I decided to try the fish sandwich as well as the Angus burger. The Angus burger was done medium and it was very tasty indeed. The fish was lightly battered and fried to golden perfection. The cod was white, flakey and delicious! I can now say that after that visit I have gone back several times and have never been disappointed. I consider the fish fry to be in the top 10 for the Waukesha and Milwaukee area and Humdingers has replaced the Bar & Grills I previously went to in the North Lake area!
Great little neighborhood bar. Nice beer selection on tap. Just off of the Bug Line bike trail, and they have a bike rack.

If you haven't tried Humdinger's, you'll have missed a great little place. Located in the middle of downtown Merton, it's a long drive for me, but well worth the trip. They have an outstanding Friday night fish fry. Humdinger's has 4 varieties of fish to choose from... Cod, Perch, Bluegill and Walleye. All are delicious. The Walleye fillets are enormous! The Bluegill is my favorite. Everything is always cooked perfectly. The drinks are also very good.I highly recommend Humdinger's!
