The ice cream was amazing, and the service was even better!

Shaker waited on us at Stone Cold Creamery in Middleton and is a delightful host. We had ice cream at the creamery and had paid for an order to go. Shaker said he would fill out order to go after we enjoyed our ice cream there.

The manager is very aggressive and disrespectful. My friend bought a cake *directly to cold stone* to be delivered via doordash (a delivery service chosen by them) two weeks ago. The cake was stolen and never delivered, and the manager didn’t want to make a refund unless we came to the store. So today we came to the store and my friend talked with the manager by phone. He was very, very rude and didn’t want to make the refund he promised. He said several times that we should take “some cake from the counter” instead of getting a refund. My friend had to ask for a refund 6 times until the manager accepted to give the money back.

Both employees behind the counter were wearing gloves and holding their phones when we walked in. After ordering, they didn’t change gloves, they just put their phones down and made our orders. Then when we went to pay, the gloves stayed on the whole time, and even after finishing paying the gloves never came off. It’s gross, and their manager needs to address this.

I went here and ordered ice cream. I started eating it and I found a DEAD BUG in my ice cream. I will never eat ice cream here again and I don't think that you should go here unless you want dead bug ice cream.

I was hoping the bad reviews were just a fluke but my hopes were destroyed after coming here. Yes, it smells very strongly of cleaning product, not something I want to be smelling while eating ice cream. Second, the ice cream is very overpriced. $15 for 2 cups of ice cream that did not impress me and my girlfriend at all left me feeling a bit ripped off for the rest of the day. Also, they wouldn’t accept my gift card and the worker was not helpful or nice about it.I will never go to Cold Stone again, nor will I recommend anyone to go there. This experience really wrecked my day.

Very unfriendly staff. I went with my service dog to enjoy ice cream, and in the middle of my stay, what appeared to be the manager posted a handwritten sign saying, “No dogs please,” which would then take off minutes after we left the place. I felt very unwelcome and mistreated. The person never asked me whether my dog was a service dog or advised me about the restriction in the place for dogs ahead of time; there were no signs before we got in. Not coming back

The owner and enployees are absolutely unsanitary. A few weeks back, I visited. As I was waiting in line, a female worker came in from outside and attempted to make my ice cream dish. I stopped her and asked if she planned on washing her hands. She went to the back and I asked her coworker to make it. I reported the incident to the owner who was no better. He wore the same gloves to make ice cream and handle money. Then had the audacity to stay they have standards. So gross!

Great ice cream and nice people that work there. Ice cream is creamy and tasty.
