Cold Stone Creamery

Stopped by on a Friday for a treat for my 4 year old that had a rough morning appointment, with Cold Stone to look forward to afterward. We arrived and parked but were greeted with a locked door and hand written sign on the door that said closed, will return at 2:15. Thanks for ruining my son’s day even more than the doctor.

It was a cold wintry night. I was the only customer. I ordered 2 items. The employee did not know how to make certain items on the menu. So disgracful!

I got the cheesecake fantasy. It feels rather jaded after a couple spoons. Also the service wasn’t great from the server, just take your ice cream and leave me alone feeling. Hope, if you go, you get a better experience and flavor.

I went the on 2sept 2025 while on vacation there at about 5:30 pm. The employee behind the counter was very respectful and Pleasant. He treated me with the upmost respect and made me feel like I was an important part of his day. This experience is not common in a lot of places. I would definitely be visiting that cold stone creamery again on my next visit to Middleton.

Be prepared to wait. Most the times I have come here it's a 30 minute wait, if there is more than 10 people in line it will be closer to an hour. Ice cream is fine and I feel bad for the staff.

My ice cream barely had any toppings mixed in. Almost $8 for plain ice cream! The bathrooms were very dirty and one of the workers had an airpod in the whole time he was serving…

I’ve been to this location twice, during the evening it is quite busy, to the point that it is around a 10 minute wait. The afternoon is more mild. The servers are nice, there are lots of options and the restaurant is very clean. The outdoor area is cute and has connect four and cornhole. Pictured is the banana jello flavor.

The best ice cream ever! Clean, friendly comfortable place!

You can’t screw up ice cream the place is enjoyable
BUT BUT. One of the employees can’t even add up three quarters. “Is three quarters 75 cents?”
Also a little less chatter an a little more mixing goes a long ways when there’s 15 people in line waiting

4/11/25 9pm: Definitely would have rated lower if it wasn’t for Amelio (sorry if I heard your name wrong)! It was just him and one other girl tonight. There was a long wait and kind of weird to only have 2 people work on a Friday night. But the speed wasn’t Amelio’s fault, he alone deserves 5 stars. The girl was going very slow, not sure if it was her first day but not very professional. She was talking a lot, meandering around, and honestly hindering Amelio more than anything. He was getting 6-8 orders by the time she started one and he was so patient with her. Needs more staff and better training, feel bad when others gotta pick up the slack.

Clearly there is a staffing issue at this location. Our order was a waste of our families time deciding and our money

Do better. You cannot schedule one person to work alone. I am here with 30 other people in your store. This could not be a more unsafe situation for your employee.
