Been to this restaurant multiple times. Parmesan Crusted Grouper was excellent as was the Surf and Turf and been medallions. Each cooked as ordered. Vegetables were either over cooked or undercooked which was the only complaint. Will return.
This restaurant has become my favorite. In fact, I have taken guests there twice in the last week - and will do so again next week. Food, service and ambiance are all outstanding. While the Madison area generally caters to the casual diner, I find that Cooper's Hawk offers a “cut above” for those of us who also are comfortable adding a little extra class to our experience. In my several visits, friends have all tried different dishes - and raved about their selections. And we have enjoyed their wines as well. (One of my friends is even taking her family to their “Open Thanksgiving” following our visit). Whether for lunch or dinner, I have been equally impressed.
Cooper's Hawk is a monthly visit for afernoon wine tasting and lunch with friends. Overall most visits are terrific but this was the second time that lunch took over 2 hours. Understaffed and new staff with no backup from management to keep things moving smoothly for the servers. This will not deter us from continuing to enjoy the establishment but I would recommend caution if you are looking for a quick meal.
The food and our server were great! The hostess and check in was a big miss. Not what we would have expected from this type of restaurant.
The butternut squash ravioli special was fantastic and our server, Jacob was wonderful. Personable and attentive.
This Was My First Time Coming To This Establishment And It Was Great 100/100 Will Highly Recommend, I Didn't Know Of This Place Until My Co worker Who Works There Told Us About It , Food Was Great Juicy, Very Tender, And Flavorful.. It Was A Great Place To Have My Birthday Dinner Cooks Was Amazing And The Waiter Was Very Patient Thank You Guys
One of my favorite places! Excellent service! We had the gnocchi and substituted the chicken for shrimp- it was perfect! Truffles for dessert are also a must with a glass of Cabernet!
Great food, good atmosphere. Wish our server was a bit better. Took a long time to get drinks
Service was outstanding for our big group, server was attentive to our needs with food recommendations and always had water at the table. Food was brought out hot and all arrived at same time with great presentation.
Group of 8, enjoyed a wonderful, dinner fill of laughter and joy! Everyone loved their meals, appetizers and wine and drinks. Then drive to Overture to watch Wicked.

It was our first time there and it was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was so kind and patient. Food was so delicious, the wine was delightful. I am already looking forward to coming back!
Truly a great experience with good people and delicious wine and food. Portions are sometimes small but we always have a wonderful time.
We had a great server, Bailey that made our experience wonderful. As a member of the wine club, I did get my thank bottle, the wine of the month which was delicious. We had the gnocchi, which was great but could have been split as it was filling. I usually never order dessert but we split the chef special a popover with strawberries and ice cream and it was decadent!!! Thank you for a very nice experience.
The food was great, but a little pricey. Our server was amazing, and the atmosphere was energetic on a Saturday evening for dinner. We would go back except for the high price compared to other local restaurants with food as good but dinner costs less.
The food was great. We had less than stellar service, our server was nice but I ordered a wine flight to pair with my 3 courses plus a sparkling wine to start. The wines didn't come until after the first course was done. They never brought the second course or any bread so I ended up having 4 glasses of wine for my main course which was ok, but not what I had planned on . I'm sure the recommended pairings are great with the food as Ive heard others recommend doing that; hopefully next time I'll be able to enjoy them together! The medallion trio was great as was the buratta sausage flat bread!
