A great place to have breakfast with a friend. Delicious. Large potions. Breakfast all day.

Breakfast was ok. However, this place doesn't allow substitutions. For example the skillet I ordered came with green peppers. I asked our server if I could get mushrooms instead and she said it would be an upcharge of $0.99 to remove the peppers & add the mushrooms. I've never been to an establishment that would charge for such a simple request/swap and for that reason this place won't get my future business.

This was my second time here, after a mediocre 1st round almost 9 months ago. Since locals like this place, I wanted to try one more time. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a pleasent experience. This was a weekday morning with place not being packed at all. Food is ok, appears clean but not delicious by any criteria. Hollandase sauce for Eggs Benedict lacks taste and spices. Their signature hasbrowns is very greasy. We ordered a single pancake to taste their pancakes. Waites tried to give us our “egg’d” forks to eat pancake. When we asked for new silverware, we received eye rolling and long stares. Only pleasant encounter we had was with the lady who served coffee- she was lovely. Atmosphere is also very outdated, appears old. I strongly recommend against visiting this place for breakfast. You are few minutes away from the original pancake house, panera and/or La Brioche and all these places welcome you with smiling faces and great service. Don’t waste your time or money for neither the condescending attitude nor medicore food.

The very best breakfast place on this side of Madison. The food is always excellent, and we always go there whenever we are in the area.

An awesome traditional american breakfast spot. It’s great when you walk in and everyone is a local. They had a great selection of just about anything you could think of, omelette, pancakes, scrambles, skillets, etc. My boyfriend said they were some of the best pancakes he’d ever had. My omelette was good, wasn’t out of this world but it was cheesy and had a nice balance of every ingredient. I would loved a little more ham. Very good for a quick bite, they are fast and efficient! Definitely will come again, looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Cozy local breakfast diner with all your Midwest favorites plus outdoor seating. Good flavor, good portions, just what you want in a breakfast spot.
Plenty of vegetarian items nothing vegan.
Note the order online section of this listing is completely wrong, not sure what restaurant that is with red curry, sounds good but it’s definitely not this place.
Vegetarian options: Just the standard egg & cheese meat free options, I don’t think there’s anything vegan.

Super unimpressed. I live down the street and love breakfast so I thought I’d found a new daily breakfast stop. I ordered the easiest stuff on the menu and not one bite was good- scrambled eggs were rubbery in texture and flavorless, bacon was like dry hard leather, hard to chew and no flavor, and the sourdough toast was tiny, dense, flavorless, and had the texture of sandpaper. The waitress never bothered to check if we needed refills, the cups they gave us were cloudy/dirty, they brought the milk out right after we ordered so that when food came 20 minutes later the milk was warm. didn’t give us enough silverware for our table so had to go search it out when our food came and they acted like we were lying about it. Would’ve ate here 5 days a week if the food/service was any good, but after this disappointing experience I’ll never be back
Good food and fast. Cooked perfectly. Oddly quiet at times. They should promote the bakery more. Didn't know it was there until we were leaving.
