The service was very disappointing. When I first arrived, the internet was so slow that I couldn’t even view the menu online. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t provide a physical menu either, so I had to ask about the ingredients in specific dishes. The staff member seemed impatient and repeatedly misunderstood what I was asking.
While I was waiting for my food, I was also told not to talk with my friend on the phone, even though other customers were freely chatting with their friends at their tables. I couldn’t understand the reason for stopping me from doing this. As someone living abroad alone, sometimes the only way to share a meal moment with family or friends is through a phone call, so this experience felt particularly upsetting.

Had the dolsot bibimbap. Too much cabbage. I'm not sure if they ran out of bulgogi or something but I swear I got ground beef. Regardless, all I could taste was cabbage.

Waited 40 mins for flavorless cabbage slop. Insult to Korean cuisine. Do not get the 돌솥 비빔밥

The food here was only average, nothing special. On top of that, the experience was made much worse by the host, who was also acting as the waiter. His attitude toward customers was very poor and showed a clear lack of basic hospitality skills.
I don’t know if this person is the owner or just an employee, but either way, he seriously needs to improve himself. Instead of being polite and welcoming, he tries to act over-smart and comes across as rude and unprofessional.
When the food is just average, good service becomes even more important — but unfortunately, both were disappointing here. Customers deserve respect and proper service, and sadly that was missing. With a better attitude and customer service, this place could be much better.

Please pay attention to the bad reviews before eating here. Wish I could give zero stars. Was actually good years ago in old location, but has gotten worse over time. After this last experience, we will never return.
I am a caucasian guy, but my mother in law is Korean. Wife 1/2, kids 1/4. So I know what Korean food should taste like. My mother-in-law taught me how to prepare many traditional dishes. Been to many Korean restaurants over the last 30 years. This was THE WORST dolsot bibimbap I have ever had. Chopped raw cabbage? and a TON of it. Nobody uses cabbage in bibimbap except maybe some kimchi. The entire $20 dish had no taste, like eating mushy water. No salt. No spice. No flavor. I added two containers of red pepper sauce and it still sucked.
Even the pork mandu was not great and I've made fresh mandu from scratch - not from a bag. These were deep fried which is fine. But that should preserve the flavor inside. They had ZERO flavor. Just a lump of flavorless filling.
Seems they are catering to the non-Asian's taste buds to those who don't really know any better. Not recommended at all.

Once you’re a regular, you’re always a regular; no matter how long it is between visits. We would go frequently from 2019-2020 but went on a bit of a hiatus. 5 years later, Eric greeted us by name. Fantastic food made by fantastic people.

We entered the restaurant with 5 months old baby and the owner said I cannot let you in because you have a stroller. He said it’s small dining area. I went inside and he only had one person eating at the restaurant. Only one. It’s terrible customer service and experience.

Phenomenal food and experience. Ask for recommendations from the staff and they will guide you wonderfully. One of the best places I’ve been.
K-peppers is an absolute gem! The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell the care that goes into every dish. The service is just as impressive; friendly, attentive, and always speedy. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and well taken care of. A perfect spot for when you want a great meal with warm hospitality. Highly recommend!

Don't bother going into this restaurant unless you'd like to waste your money. The food isn't worth it nor was the waiter's attitude. Me and my friend went there and paid separately but tipped together on her end. No questions asked from the guy who served us. Like how was the food or anything. He did not do anything else other than taking orders, serving the food and checking us out, which in my opinion even if you barely worked in a restaurant you should know to check on your customer for at least once but he didn't even bother. Doing the minimum work and expecting a lot of tips? And yelling at your customer that don't bother to come or just do take out if you don't have the money to tip? Since when did tipping become mandatory? And why would I tip you since you can't do your job well? Go live in your own dream and find a sugar daddy or mommy to take care of you if you don't want to work hard for money. You're doing customer service and even a child knows better than you. I don't care how others think about your food or your atmosphere, but ain't no customer is going to pay for your trash serving attitude that ruins everything.
