Sigh. Another costly, mediocre outing @ Longtable. Thurs evening, not crowded, ample staff, yet we scored the surly, bearded waiter, not really interested in helping us navigate the food/bev menus but whatever. Beer/wine was great hence the 2 stars. Charcuterie board, well, thx for serving up your 3 dried out ends of each cheese, stale crackers, and a serving of honey that couldn’t be more out of place on that board. And having to serve myself water while wait staff stand around, some scrolling on phones, um, ok. I keep giving your place a shot, dropping a couple hund $/visit, mainly b/c ur one of the few estab in downtown Middleton willing to stay open in the evening, but gotta share this honest review that the long table experience continues to disappoint.

Disappointed not only in food but also service.

Food: burger was dry in both the patty and bun. Truffle fries were dry and had *no taste. Honestly probably the worst truffle fries I’ve ever had. The parm for the truffle fries was just a few slivers (maybe looks cute for a pic but doesn’t enhance the taste). The server asked if I wanted anything on my burger, I said yes LTO. She added tomatoes and lettuce (didn’t add the onion?). Each was a $.50 addition. It ended up being one singular sliver of lettuce- definitely an over charge. She also never told me to add toppings would be an addition, I saw on my own when I got the bill. There was no dipping sauce that came with either the burger or fries. Both the burger and the fries were cold when served. The burger is incredibly small which is probably why it’s hard to find a marketed photo of it.

Service: I had to approach the server both to order and pay as she did not come by. The facility was not busy. I was never asked how my food was. I asked for one thing, “mayo for a dipping sauce”. She looked at me like she never had heard of such a request then pointed me to a napkin container that had other dipping sauces and made a statement like they didn’t have mayo. I’ve never been to a place that served burgers and did not have mayo, so that was a first for me.

Walked out not enjoying the food or experience.

Trendy, in downtown Middleton. Prices are high-ish. Portions are small-ish. Nice to be able to self-serve beer. Nice to be able to sit outside or inside.

This is such a cool spot in Middleton. The bartenders are awesome — super friendly and welcoming. I love the setup here, especially in the summer when they open up the walls and it feels like you’re on a patio. It has that indoor/outdoor vibe that makes it really unique.

They also host Premier Trivia, which draws a fun crowd and makes for a great night out. I didn’t eat while I was here, but the atmosphere, the service, and the setup were enough to win me over. I’ll definitely be back.

Great location and cool vibes. They have a large specialty beer selection. Outdoor seating is available for those warm summer days or cooler fall weather evenings. Menu options are good.

Went for lunch with a baby based of Reddit saying it was a good spot for foodie adults with kids. Dining room was 2/3 full but not too loud. Beer list was extensive and they actually had some of the more obscure options available (sours).

Food was very good and service was quick. Reddit nailed it. Will definitely be back.

One last note to the parents- they have a changing table. Never a guarantee at a spot like this but always nice.

The vibes were awesome and the service was very good! Beer selection is amazing and delicious! Fish fry was solid and fries and dipping sauce were great.

The lone downside was very subpar Brussels sprouts. Flavor was not good at all and they were undercooked. Maybe best to avoid veggies here, but everything else was great.
