Walking into Louisiana Etc. felt like stepping straight into a Tom Waits song soulful, and dripping with character. The atmosphere is rich with mood: dim lighting, rustic details, and a hum that makes you feel like the night could go on forever. It’s the kind of place where you settle in and lose track of time.
What really sets it apart, though, is the service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They struck that perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness—making sure we had what we needed without ever hovering.
Altogether, it’s not just a restaurant; it’s an experience. If you’re looking for a spot that makes you feel transported somewhere between New Orleans grit and back-alley poetry;this is it.

First timer, and loved it. All of the food arrived at the table hot, and was fantastic. Loved having the piano player performing.

Great spot close to where we live. We’ve lived by this place for years, but this was our first time dining there.
Nice vibe and atmosphere. Can be a little hard to hear though if there’s a loud group.
Food was all excellent — prepared and seasoned well.
We had the combination platter for starters and we enjoyed each item.
I had the special pasta dish with shrimp and crawfish. Really good.
My wife had the catch of the day and loved it.
Great service and an overall great value. We’ll be back.

Our friend Moses recommended it and we loved our experience here.
I had jambalaya here. Jambalaya was made with andouille sausage and shrimp. Traditional jambalaya has chicken and andouille sausage. There was a heavier tomato base that I'm used to with jambalaya. It almost did not go. Wasn't very spicy and the sausage wasn't very spicy either. I was scratching my head on that. I'd have to have other entrees but if you're a jambalaya purist like myself.. I would go for something else. Cuz you will be disappointed. It didn't taste bad... But it was not the jambalaya I had when I was in New Orleans. Completely different than that flavor and taste. If you name your restaurant Louisianne... I would expect it to be exactly like New Orleans flavor.
Cozy ambiance, great food, unpretentious dining. Come in jeans, have some apps and cocktails at the bar while enjoying great conversation.
Just got back from NOLA a week ago and was really craving some yummy creole cajun style food.
Well I found it! The food was delicious.
We had the goat cheese, pecan blackened catfish, seafood pasta (scallops were done perfectly), and a piece of pecan pie. All of the food it was wonderful.
My only minor complaint is, the space echoes quite a bit when full, little challenging for me being slightly hard of hearing. Worth it though.
We will be back for sure!!
Entire meal was great, from goat cheese appetizer and soup to the seafood entrees. Service was exceptional.
