Great spot close to where we live. We’ve lived by this place for years, but this was our first time dining there.

Nice vibe and atmosphere. Can be a little hard to hear though if there’s a loud group.

Food was all excellent — prepared and seasoned well.

We had the combination platter for starters and we enjoyed each item.

I had the special pasta dish with shrimp and crawfish. Really good.

My wife had the catch of the day and loved it.

Great service and an overall great value. We’ll be back.

Our friend Moses recommended it and we loved our experience here.

I had jambalaya here. Jambalaya was made with andouille sausage and shrimp. Traditional jambalaya has chicken and andouille sausage. There was a heavier tomato base that I'm used to with jambalaya. It almost did not go. Wasn't very spicy and the sausage wasn't very spicy either. I was scratching my head on that. I'd have to have other entrees but if you're a jambalaya purist like myself.. I would go for something else. Cuz you will be disappointed. It didn't taste bad... But it was not the jambalaya I had when I was in New Orleans. Completely different than that flavor and taste. If you name your restaurant Louisianne... I would expect it to be exactly like New Orleans flavor.

Cozy ambiance, great food, unpretentious dining. Come in jeans, have some apps and cocktails at the bar while enjoying great conversation.

Just got back from NOLA a week ago and was really craving some yummy creole cajun style food.
Well I found it! The food was delicious.
We had the goat cheese, pecan blackened catfish, seafood pasta (scallops were done perfectly), and a piece of pecan pie. All of the food it was wonderful.
My only minor complaint is, the space echoes quite a bit when full, little challenging for me being slightly hard of hearing. Worth it though.
We will be back for sure!!

Entire meal was great, from goat cheese appetizer and soup to the seafood entrees. Service was exceptional.

Great food. Had the special.

Hands down amazing. We’ve tried most of the menu and it’s all lived in my head rent-free!

Old school restaurant vibes. Dim lighting and nooks. Check the menu before going to make sure something looks good.

Our first visit to Louisianne's was 9/28/2024. The food (goat cheese and the artichoke hearts appetizers, jambalaya, and lemon pesto shrimp) was good and seasoned appropriately. The Chocolate fudge pecan cake was excellent! However, what made our visit special was the outstanding service provided by our server Kristi. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and her recommendations were perfect. I recommend this restaurant, but I strongly encourage you to get seated in Kristi's section for the extra touch that makes dining out a special event. THANK YOU, KRISTI!!!

Amazing food, little bit of a geezer vibe but everything I had was absolutely superb

Pecan catfish with crayfish was very good, I’d recommend your date get a light pasta so you can share the sauce

Amaretto sour lacked a cherry which was a little womp

Food so good, if you’re in Madison it’s worth the drive out

Service a slow towards the end after I indicated we were ready to go

Have visited repeatedly because we love the food and the people here! It feels as if you have traveled to New Orleans upon arrival. The intimacy sweeps you off your feet and the flavors keep you coming back for more. Cheers!

With live music on a Friday night and a fun cellar-like setting, the location is great. However, both of our dishes (different seafood and pasta options) and even the house salad dressings were incredibly bland. For Cajun cooking, failure to appropriately season seems like a mortal sin. Our meals certainly weren't worth the price.
