Our soccer team was in between matches and showed up around noon with about 40 people. Management and servers were great! Food was great. Awesome experience. We’ll definitely stop in next time we are in the area. Thanks again for everything!

Listed online as open until 2am, so I drove from Waunakee to grab some food. I arrived at 10:45pm and the lights were on, even around the patio, and someone was inside… but the door was locked. The person inside came out and told me they haven’t stayed open late since before Covid 🤯 (5 years ago). Oddly, they confirmed their hours on Google one week ago 😒🤔🙄
UPDATED RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS REPLY - I own a business, so I know you can login and update your hours. The site says you confirmed your hours there one week ago? In fact - I see that you DID just update your hours. Thanks for finally doing that.
Unfortunately, as I said to you that evening, it was too late to go anywhere else, so I decided to just stay parked on the small road in front of your parking lot, which had no signage indicated any limits on parking, and google maps shows a car parked with a boat trailer, so I went to sleep in my RV instead, which I had driven 20 minutes to get to your location, and was planning to visit Harbor Athletic Club in the morning.
****Then you called the cops to have me removed*** so since you decided you had to ruin my evening even further, keeping me not only from a meal, but also sleep, I won't be updating my review.
➡️ Maybe next time you could just not go out of your way to make a potential customer's night even harder than it already was. I was hoping to make this a regular spot to eat after work, as the reviews did look good, but how you treat people matters.

Great food! I order for lunch all the time and their pot roast is so good. Best mashed potatoes around. Their staff is super friendly, helpful and delivery is prompt. My food is always hot when I get it. The added bonus is how reasonably priced their food is. Definitely a place to check out and help to support your local small businesses.

Last weekend my wife and I came in to grab dinner. When we entered the restaurant, I asked the host if we were able to sit anywhere as we could see open tables. After looking us up and down, she said she assigned tables, but that they were full and didn’t have anything available. She told us our only option would be to sit at the bar, no estimate even of when a table would be available. As we went to sit at the bar, thinking of was our only option, a man and his son walked in asking for a table for two, she kindly said “yes, follow me right this way.” My wife and I decided that the discomfort we both were feeling wasn’t worth sticking it out and informed the bartender we’d actually not be eating there anymore. We did explain why and she was incredibly apologetic. The tone shift that the host had between speaking with us, a gay couple, and the two individuals after us was obvious and very uncomfortable. We do carry out often from here and decided to try dine in, but won’t be returning any time soon.

I’ve known about Mid Town Pub for years but have never been. I’ve been missing out! My wife and I went last Wednesday, and were immediately greeted as we came through the door. We had friendly, antentive, authentic service within minutes of sitting down. I ordered the Patty Melt with generous 1/3 lb patty and sweet potato fries and my wife had the Provoslaw Burger. To me, if a pub gets a Patty Melt right, then all their food must be good. It was probably the best Patty Melt I’ve had in my life. And the sweet potato fries? No doubt the best I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, no burnt ends. I’d come back just for those fries. My wife loved her burger as well and agreed the sweet potato fries were amazing. I’ve not been this impressed by a Madison area restaurant in a long time. Service, quality, speed of getting our food. 5 stars across the board. I can easily say we’ll be back again, and again, and…
