Miggy’s Bakes

I was throwing a birthday party for my mom and requested to order some custom cookies (with kind of short notice, I might add!) and Shelby from Miggy's Bakes responded right away - they were able to accommodate my request and everything turned out amazing! They were golf-themed cookies and everyone at the party kept commenting on them. They were so cool! Would definitely recommend making an order here if you need something unique and fun for your next event. Tasty too! :)

LOVE Miggys Bakes! Shelby is so sweet and her store provides such a cute and cozy environment all while serving up DELICIOUS treats! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves or cater an event!

I was first introduced to Miggy’s Bakes through a baking class. I fell in love with their sugar cookies. They are by far the best sugar cookies I have ever had. We decided to buy them for a high school grad party. Not only were the cookies delish, the art on the cookies was also beautiful.

We ordered a cake (and bought a mini cake at the counter) for our daughter’s 21st birthday. The frosting & piping looked amazing (although, too sugary for everyone over 18 years old), but the vanilla cake was really dry. Everyone, especially my mother-in-law, loved the raspberry filling between layers. Most of the people ate the delicious filling and a little of the frosting, but left the cake on their plates.

Edit: Shelby reached out to us to figure out what went wrong. She was wonderful to work with. My family is looking forward to trying Miggy’s Bakes again!

I love Miggy's! My husband and I stop in when we're in the neighborhood, and it's always a great experience, from the friendly service to the tasty treats. I have also ordered catering for numerous events and they never disappoint!

Just attended my first ever cake decorating class- it was so much fun! Incredible staff, great experience and even better cake. What more could you ask for?!

We've been huge fans of Miggy's since Marigold. Since the storefront opened, we haven't been able to enjoy their treats as often but every time we make the trip over to the west side, it's so worth it! The pumpkin cheesecake and raspberry cheesecake cookies are my new favorites? Strongly recommend stopping by for a box of sweets or ordering for the holidays!

Shelby was so so easy to work with for my child’s birthday cake! The vision was even better than I had imagined. My daughter still talks about it nearly 6 months later and asks to look at pictures! The taste, perfectly dense and moist all at the same time. Shelby is a true baking genius! She’s so good at what she does! I’ve had her desserts since she was a student at UW Madison and I say this each time, but I don’t know how it keeps getting better with each bite!

Shelby helped us decide on the perfect dessert for our wedding and was so communicative, responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our planning process. We ended up choosing their ice cream sandwiches with Miggy’s cookies and Babcock ice cream and they were SO GOOD. She even made sure to find out what kind of storage our venue had and how quickly the venue could refrigerate the sammies in order to know how to best package them.

We got so many compliments on the ice cream sandwiches and people asking where they could get more. They were such a hit! We were even lucky to get a few leftover to take home and enjoy after the wedding too!

Shelby is so sweet and we're so thankful for her communication and help throughout that decision making process. We couldn't be more grateful and appreciative of working with her and could not recommend her enough for all your sweet tooth and wedding needs! Miggy's Bakes opening in Middleton was the best thing to happen to our town!
