Our server was friendly, competent and gave us the perfect amount of attention. We had the lamb pizza that was innovative and well executed. The cup of Gelato was the perfect dessert.

What can I say about Villa Dolce that hasnât already been said? FatĂłn and Luda are amazing hosts who run a top restaurant in Middleton - and probably Madison too as an undiscovered gem. The food is always egregiously good, no matter what you order, and the homestyle service is second to none. We keep coming back and will for as long as they'll have us. A+, 10/10, would recommend.

My daughter graduated from UW two years ago and we still visit once a year. A highlight is dining at Villa Dolce! It is a great place with great food! Love the location I. Middleton. We will continue to keep coming and recommending to friends!

Such a special place, and one of our all time favorite restaurants! Each person in our family orders the same dish every time we visit, as they are each too good to try something new. Always a friendly welcome when we come in, and a tasty drink as well. I would recommend reservations, as it is a popular place!
It seems to be a very good small place. In a week rainy day, I could not get a place for 3 people (must have a reservation!). On the other side, I got a take out, the pizzas and ice cream were amazing. I'll definitely come back with a reservation soon

It had been awhile since we had eaten at Villa Dolce. We went early on a Saturday around 6:00. We did not have a reservation but were seated outside immediately. We ordered a meat lovers pizza, side salad, and beet salad wine, and beer. They were out of Peroni and evidently, changing the keg was beyond the capacity of the staff. The 12â pizzas are not that big, which is why we ordered salads. After a wait, our pizza arrived but there were no salads. We assumed the salads would come before the pizza. The person who brought the pizza was someone different than our server but I told her we had ordered salads and she just said âoh yesâ. After getting half way through our pizza, I saw our server who had not checked on us and told her to go ahead and cancel the salads. She apologized and went on her way. When our bill came, the beet salad that I had ordered was still on the bill. She was surprised and said, oh I thought you had not received the side salad. No, we didnât receive either salad. I told her that when the pizza came and when I stopped her before that I had informed them that we did not get our salads. Kind enough person but then she didnât even ask about desserts. Instead we went down to Hubbard Street Dinner for pie.
The pizza was excellent and we will be back. I think the system for ordering and delivering food is just screwed up.

Fabulous menu! Tempted to order "one of each!" Decided on the wild mushroom ravioli and a side of asparagus. Entree was exceptionally good and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive but not hovering. A very enjoyable visit.
