Been a visitor for 40 years. Love the place. food is GREAT! Watching storms roll in is fun also..lol.

My family chose this spot to celebrate our anniversary and I’m glad they did! The food was wonderful - I had the prime rib, French onion soup and the starter bread that was a pretzel bun with beer cheese on the side. It was all very flavorful and the prime rib was a perfect medium-rare.
The indoors was charming with a frozen-in-time look with some modern touches, and the view of the lake was beautiful.

We had dinner on the patio to celebrate Father's Day. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the food was delish. Our server was great.

Always a great meal here. Prime rib is always excellent, and the place has the classic, supper-club vibe with a beautiful view of the lake.

Food was so so. And expensive! Service was good. Views of the lake were awesome.

The setting and service for the lobster boil were great but the lobster was overcooked and the tail meat was tough and chewy. Not worth the price!

We love the Buckhorn. We took our entire family (8) and everyone’s meal was delicious. The Old Fashions were the best, too. The sunset over the lake was the best part.

Kid-friendliness: We brought a two year old and a five year old. They loved the big chair outside and could run around. The kids meals are huge like full sized adult meals so lots of take home bags.

We drive 1 hour and 15 minutes to go here and have never been disappointed. I never order prime rib when I'm dining out anywhere, but at the Buckhorn, I won't order anything BUT the prime rib. It's the best! We'll worth the drive.
Tonight, we are ordering takeout. A 2.5 hour round trip, and no, we're not nuts, just a lover of quality good food.

Outside atmosphere was great, never got to experience the food. Made a reservation and was told to wait 10 minutes. 45 minutes later we were still not seated. I inquired if we would be seated soon and was told our table was being prepared. 15 minutes later and we left for culvers.

Been several years since we were at the Buckhorn. Decided to give it a try. Terrible experience. They seated us at a old wooden folding table about 3x3. No tablecloths. Had to ask for water. They served it in a 4-5 oz glass. I wanted Salmon. They were out. Ok give me shrimp. They brought 4 shrimp. I had a choice of green beans or baked potatoes. Awful! I ordered French onion. There was a charge for cheese. My husband ha a steak. Really tough. We had better food at Applebee's. Our bill without drinks was $144. We will never go back. I'll give my money to one of the other supper clubs

Service was good…French onion soup was good…I had the Chicken bruschetta, it was the special, in reality it was dry and bland…the other special was beef stroganoff that for being in gravy was dry as well…At supper club prices we had a cafeteria grade meal. Second time there, not impressed the first experience and less impressed the second time…Staff is excellent though.
