I went to Frederick's on a busy Saturday night with a reservation for 6:00 p.m. . We waited only a short time, about 15 minutes after 6:00, to be seated. However, after being seated we didn't even receive water for another 25 minutes. Even that event had to be encouraged by stopping the bus boy and asking when we would see a waitress. Again, I emphasize it was a very busy night and I am not aware of whether they were understaffed or not. However, once the waitress took note of us waiting and not being served. She went out of her way to make sure our evening was pleasant. The reason I rate the food as four stars is that my steak was a trifle overdone, and a bit more chewy than I expected. Nevertheless, I will certainly return as I want to see if these are consistent results. There is a lot of competition in the area of red meat-centered supper clubs in the area but in Wisconsin people are generally loyal to their local establishment regardless of how they rank in that grouping.
