I recently dined at 1033 in Milwaukee and had an absolutely phenomenal experience. The menu is diverse and offers a range of exquisite dishes that cater to various tastes. Here’s a rundown of what I enjoyed:
- Sawagani River Crabs: These were crispy and super flavorful, a perfect start to the meal. - Brussels Sprouts: The combination of Kerry sauce, crispy coppa, tempura, and sabayon made these sprouts absolutely delicious. The crispy coppa was a standout. - Salt Cod Korokke: These were a revelation! The blend of potato, white asparagus, and cilantro was perfect. I will definitely be craving these and want them again soon. - Steak (Pittsburgh Rare): The Wagyu beef was cooked to perfection and salted just right. The Wagyu fat hashbrown and herb vinaigrette slaw complemented the steak beautifully. - Meat and Cheese Board: This included Lady Edison, goat cheese, and cow cheese, along with bread and olive oil butter. Everything was so good and paired well together.
The service was impeccable. Tori took such good care of us and ensured our experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our visit even more enjoyable.
Overall, 1033 is a must-visit for anyone in Milwaukee looking for a top-notch dining experience. 10/10, highly recommend!

We had a double date here this evening. This was our first time here and wow did it not disappoint! This place is incredible. We ordered so many different items from the menu, and each dish was phenomenal. The service was impeccable and the hospitality was something you don’t see often. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

The freshest and most unique seafood you will find in the city. Standouts are the whole river crabs you crunch in one bite, the crystal blue prawn, geoduck crudo and the firefly squid you usually only find in high end sushi restaurants on the west coast. Super impressed.

We went for dinner with a small group of 3 for a special occasion but this would be a perfect date night spot too. It was a Thursday and it wasn't too crowded which we preferred. Cocktails and mocktails were top-tier and the amuse bouche was very fun. The meal was fantastic, we ordered nearly all of the plates to share. The entrees that were our favorites were the Salted Cod Karroke, Steak, and Iberico. Service was top notch and very fun! We laughed and really enjoyed our time.

Dinner was amazing! So much flavor in every dish. I loved that the seating was around the kitchen. We were able to interact with the chef and server as much or little as we liked. It was a truly unique dining experience. Everything was worth the price we paid. I had never had crystal blue prawns and they were so buttery and delicious. Ordered octopus, steak and morels. Loved it all. Server was great, attentive, friendly and explained any questions we had about the menu. After dinner and dessert I overheard the chef explaining the monkfish liver and now I have to go back. I am pretty sure there are dishes on the menu you can't get anywhere else in Milwaukee.

30/10 this is literally the most amazing, flavorful, intimate and dining experience we have had ever in this city. We have been to most every reasturaunt in the city (15 years lived here) and this was in the top 5. You have to go.
We stopped into 1033 MKE last night for dinner and drinks and I am still thinking about the whole experience a day later! The whole experience was awesome, from the welcoming feel when you first walk in, the amazing staff, and of course the food and drinks. They not only have a great wine list but also offered some "sober sips". I had the cherry spritz which was unique and refreshing. Everything we tasted was amazing with my favorite being the scallops. Thank you Tori, Sam, and the amazing culinary team for an unforgettable experience!

What an amazing experience. Every bite of food--shrimp, prawn, oyster, geoduck, scallop--was fresh, distinct, perfect. Cocktails were unique, interesting, well-constructed. The atmosphere, dark and with a long wrap-around bar, has Midnight Diner vibes. An immaculate evening at 1033. Will return.
