Interesting concept and a small, intimate place where you see things being prepared right there. This led to the place being a little smoky at times and they had the front door propped open to get a little fresh air inside. Ordered many different dishes and some were very good, a couple excellent and some were just ok. Thought the prices were very high for tapas food in Milwaukee but I do not doubt they are using high quality ingredients. Wine pours were pretty small for the price they charge and a fairly limited selection of vino as well. Wine quality was good, not great. People cooking and serving seem like great people and hope they have success!

Best restaurant in Milwaukee. The ambiance & food are outstanding! Highly recommend! The chef, Adam, puts so much thought into the menu. Every potato he makes turns to gold. Tori our server was lovely and knows her craft!
This place is knocking it out of the park.Edit... Review part two. Came in last night, and, had an amazing time. Had the one for me one for you (excellent prawns), 10 more oysters to make it a dozen, the octopus salad special (the kumquats in it were a perfect balance), and just because the lobster toast (it's a crazy reasonable price for that dish) and the morels (because, well, morels). Each bite was literally perfect. Killed the last bottle of your Caraccioli Brut (can't wait to see that's going to replace it) and had a few cocktails. Service was spot on, chatted with the staff, probably made them stay longer than needed, yet never felt rushed. I recommend you guys all the time. Can't wait to see what the spring menu offers.
What a fabulous gem! After 21 years in the Navy, I've literally eaten everywhere. Now living between Chicago and Milwaukee, I've had the pleasure of eating at Michelin / Bib Gourmand restaurants, and this intimate, romantic, eclectic, and cozy spot in Milwaukee - 1033 MKE puts out some of the most delicious and inventive food I've ever tasted. I've been twice and can't wait to go again. Bravo to them for personable and knowledgeable service. Definitely a James Beard or Michelin coming out of that kitchen!

My partner and I had a date night here and everything was perfect! We shared a good number of small plates and every single one of them were unique and absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was attentive, and everything felt worth the price. We'll definitely be back when we're in town.
Food was amazing…complex but not pretentious. The service was exceptional, very laid back and friendly and just the right amount attentive. Great menu with the added bonus of getting to see the chef prepare your food.
