The food was amazing (fresh, imaginative, delicious) and the staff were all so welcoming. Omakase is such an experience and I could tell the chef was proud of his craft. The flavors were amazing and I loved each course. The drinks were also exceptional!

On a scale of 1 to 10, it’s like one million. We loved the experience from the get-go. We were greeted and seated on the outer rim of the countertop service when we first arrived. We were offered initial drinks to start our experience while the chefs were getting everything ready. Once the chefs were set up, the staff moved a dozen of us guests to the countertop and we were introduced to the chefs.

Soooo….the food was amazing, the presentation amazing, the atmosphere and music amazing, and the staff amazing. We of course purchased a t-shirt for our son.

We will be back, that is if we can get a reservation! Highly recommend. Thank you so much

Closest thing I've had to my dining in Japan. The first course really reminded me of the flavors over there, and every course after brought a smile to my face. Very high quality Japanese food. it's a fairly traditional Kaiseki/Omakase, 14 small courses that have been selected by the chef. You don't get to choose, and I kind of like it that way. As long as you enjoy Japanese cuisine and have an open mind, I'd highly recommend it.

Thoughts on where it could improve: Could include a tea course in the middle or at the end; Could increase the length a little, didn't feel rushed, but would have liked a little more time to think about each course; Music could be turned down when the chef is talking, had a hard time hearing some of the specifics of each course.

Update: I've now been back twice since. Whether or not it was from my review, the second time I was there for the Supreme Course a Tea section was added. The tea was near perfect! Not just a bog standard green tea. And, it was nice to see that the menu does change.

The Third time I dined here I did the Classic Course. Well worth it, and not a down grade compared to the supreme course. The ability to order more of the sushi you liked at the end helps bring it up to par (and price) of the Supreme Course. Maybe a down side is that it's only sushi, but they do tell you that up front.

Great fish. Music too loud in my opinion. Left hungry sadly.

Good Hip-hop. Request drinks while dining set up was refreshed, was told I can take your order but they will be mixed later -$200.

None of the chef crew said hello until we sat down 20 minutes later. Lack of etiquette.

Main chef is unclear and short with his announcements of creations served. Lack of experience.

The creations were good. As a full package, I would say $250 per couple, not $421.00 with tip per couple X 3 couples.

Improve the new guest arrival experience, deliver drinks while waiting and watching a bar clean up, improve clarity and add story telling to each piece, than maybe will consider going back. 3 stars for effort.

Fresh fish is flown in from Japan. Need we say more as to quality? It's an experience that one would expect in Manhattan or LA. Easy to see why reservations are impossible to come by!!

Wow Wow Wow! Walkers point has never seen an establishment as classy as this one. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night. I especially will be coming back from their wide selection of cocktails and sake. The service from the server was amazing, the bartender was very helpful and kind with helping me select my order. Will be recommending this place everywhere I go!

Amazing environment the interior design and chefs created a Sophisticated environment but the 90s rap in the background kept it relaxed, food was amazing I’ve genuinely never tasted anything better in my life if you can manage to get a reservation you won’t regret it chefs and staff were so friendly and helpful and looked like they truly loved their craft

Was lucky enough to score a last minute reservation at 1033 Omakase for myself and one of my buddies and I am so glad that I did.

Staff was friendly and attentive as soon as we arrived. The restaurant only sits 10-15 people so very cozy environment and definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and ability to be right there with the chefs while they were preparing the food.
We did the 14 course and my friend and I after each item was served felt like each one was somehow better than the last.

They had a great selection of sake and other cocktails and the hosts made great recommendations or provided insight on favorites of different staff members.

Even as someone who enjoys sushi who used to be a picky eater, there were many things on the menu I had never tried before but really loved. The food was fun, fresh, high quality and the touch of the head chef there making your food and interacting with you, being able to see the detail while making each course is a great added touch.

The chef was attentive, always asking our thoughts, providing insight on what we were eating and I enjoyed after the meal that he asked what our favorite thing was, which frankly was a hard question to answer where many of the courses were competing for that spot.

I personally enjoyed the 90’s hip hop (don’t worry karens, it’s the radio edits) and thought it added a unique touch and was not too loud as to hinder conversation.
If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation here it is absolutely a must go and I certainly hope to go back in the future.

For people trying to get a reservation, make sure to I sign up for email notifications on Resy. A spot opened up yesterday for today and was glad to be able to hop on it. This place is going to continue to be busy and for good reason.

1033 Team, I wish you continued success and I’m glad I was able to experience what the hype was about, it was well worth it and well deserved.

Our first time at Omakase but the head chef was out so we knew it was an abbreviated experience. The sushi was amazing, but the music was all rap and not conducive to dining. It was loud and we could not even hear the chef describe the sushi. We have a full 14 course scheduled with friends but not sure if it is worth the price.
