I am going to be thinking about the Misoyaki and Wagyu for a looong time. Everything from the ambience and music, to the hospitality and, of course, the fantastic food - felt somehow like it was tailor-made just for me and my tastes, and its so rare to find a truly quality and intimate experience like that.

I think this, at the very least, is a yearly must go-to spot.

Cheers to you guys!

I came here by myself after having 1033 on my list for a long time. The experience was great and the food was fantastic! The staff came around and chatted with each guest and asked about the experience throughout the meal, both chefs checked in often, and the music was great! I mentioned to one of the staff members that I loved yuzu and was excited to see it on the menu and she brought me over a little taste of yuzu sake. This was such a nice and personal touch. I had a lot of fun, even by myself, and I’ll try to get a reservation again sometime in the future!

Hands-down, the best sushi in Milwaukee. Portions are small, even at 14 courses, but it is more about the experience and deliciousness in each bite and then eating to get full. Maybe have a snack ahead of time? Loved the 90s hip-hop and rap. I think it would’ve been nice to have better descriptions on the menu because it was hard to understand the chefs when they were saying what each course was, but I wouldn’t sacrifice the music and vibe for that, which is why I say more detailed menu would be great. But that was only a minor thing to me.

I quite literally have experienced nothing like this.

Walking into the restaurant was an intimate setting and I immediately realized why it was so hard to book. There are 10 available seats that create an L shape around the chefs. We were greeted by the serving staff immediately even though they were finishing up the previous round. The drinks were incredible! All 10 guests dine with the crafted menu simultaneously. The music was a vibe- classic R&B that had you bopping a long.

Executive Chef, Ray Boonyapituksakul, made greeted each guest and asked about allergies. We all did a round of sake courtesy of the house and the chef cheersed every guest. He introduced each dish and watching him work with each course was like watching an artist carefully craft a masterpiece.

The meal was absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were packed. Every single item on the menu was fresh and of the highest quality. He made suggestions on how to eat each course (spoon, chopsticks, fingers, like a shot) which was helpful. I cannot tell you a favorite item, but I can tell you every item was my favorite.

At the end of the night they had 2 a la carte options for 2 extra pieces of sushi. The last one served had glitter and left the restaurant sparkling capturing the joy each person felt.

I experienced a luxury that I can never forget.

Thank you so much for sharing your art.

We have been there twice, and while we love the food both times, last night we were very disappointed on have all of our menu cook by the apprentice, we paid full price (over $150 per person) to not get a single dish made by the Chef, not even the explanation of the dishes was been given to us by him.
If you can not manage a setting of 10 people maybe you should cut down the number of attendees per reservation.
Love the food and the experience itself but I would not go back and take the risk of be seated at the far end where the Chef forgets about you.

1033 Omakase is an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything about this place is absolutely amazing. The service is fabulous, warm, attentive, and welcoming. The 14-course omakase is outstanding, featuring authentic sushi and sashimi that are beautifully prepared and incredibly fresh. There truly isn’t a single bad course; every bite is amazing.

The chef and staff are extremely friendly and make the experience feel personal and special. The atmosphere is fantastic very chill, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. Watching the chef prepare each course right in front of you adds to the magic and makes the meal even more memorable.

Be prepared to plan ahead. It can take months to secure a reservation, and this is definitely a top-tier dining experience, so it comes at a higher price point. That said, it is worth every single penny.

If you’re looking for a top-tier omakase experience in Milwaukee, this place is a must. An absolute gem.
