Underwhelming. One poor waitress working alone at 3pm when the bar was packed. Took 40 minutes just for her to acknowledge us. Menu is super bland as well.

Used to be a fun place to go, went yesterday and will never go back. The restaurant was filthy! The women’s bathroom was out of service and the now shared men’s bathroom was so gross, and the vomit on the outside stairs is unacceptable. Our server was nice enough, but the bartender had a horrible attitude to everyone…the place was NOT busy! Sad to see because this used to be a great place!

The place was dirty. Napkins and trash on the floor, and that was well after the lunch crowd. The ladies bathroom was out of service and they told me to use the nem's bathroom - but there was no lock on the door and potential for someone to walk in and use the urinal. I was hoping for a better experience given their reputation. Super nice and attentive server.

Place has a cool vibe. Wanted a boozy shake and were told they didn’t have the ingredients ?♀️. The burger ? was possibly the best burger I have ever eaten!! Waitress/bartender was lacking, we decided that Eyeore has more energy than she did!! Go for the food!! You won’t be disappointed but don’t expect excellent customer service!

Saw an advertisement on Facebook for this restaurant, showcasing boozy milkshakes. We were so excited to pull in, the host had a great smile and said our server at the bar would be very egar to take care of us.
I ordered the Cookie Monster excitedly, and then was told, "I can't make that. We don't have the stuff." Not an I'm sorry, would you want to try something else, she just stood there and looked at me like I was dumb for ordering it on. Saturday afternoon. OK...whatever.
I ordered the burger with bacon, cheese and peanut butter and added the egg for a buck and had tots. Oh..my..god! This was the greatest burger I've ever had. 10 outta 10. Amazing.
My friend and I said we would totally come back, but avoid the bartender/server. She made Eeyore look more lively. I get that this is a college bar, but if you are going to be a bartender/server, put a little more pep in the step, and show the same excitement you had whilw looking at your phone.

Good burgers, fries also ok, tots were bad and not tasty at all. Staff needs to me more professional and polite.
Waitress was good. Inside was good. Food was cold, made wrong, took forever to get. Had we not had to go leave to get to our event I would have sent the food back.

The cheese curds were siting in so much grease. So much so the grease was reflecting. They should have let them sit on a towel for a bit before serving them so the towel can soak up a lot of that grease. I wish I can post a video of the grease falling off of the cheese curd. I wasted almost $10 on these just to throw them away. Definitely over priced for really bad quality food??♀️

This is one of those meals I think about from time to time! I was in Milwaukee for a day hanging out. While I'm in a new city, I'm always on the search for what the locals eat. AJ Bombers was a great lunch spot for my visit!
The food was absolutely perfect and the atmosphere made it a memorable moment. The writing on the walls is unique and something I've really only ever seen in the bathrooms of a dive bar!
Recommend 10/10 if you're hungry for a juicy burger and fresh fries!??
