The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 starts, which I understand is out of the staffs control, is that it was quite busy and some of the tables are a bit cramped. On a weekday, I’m sure that this is a super nice coffee shop. The food was good, the staff was understanding despite being a first time customer, and even though it foot traffic was high, the food and drinks were ready in a timely manner.

my wife went to surprise me with one of my favorite cups of coffee and came up a little upset. She said it was not a friendly environment. This is sad to hear because we just moved here. :/

Food menu says “served all day,” so it was disappointing and annoying to be told 2.5 hours before close that they had turned off the oven and stopped serving food for the day.

Favorite coffee shop in all Milwaukee! Best beans, I love the Atomic blend for making lattes at home. The Bay View location has a special spot in my heart, it's such a nice atmosphere and the employees are so nice.

Perfect Coratdos. Cozy atmosphere.

Barista anticipated my requests even before I could voice them :-) She was super friendly even when busy. The cafe decor, vibe, offerings are just right. The pizza is more like flat bread and very delicious. Oh yes, the coffee...it is one of my top two favorites in MKE, consistently roasted and prepared properly.

I know it's spooky season, but ghosting is unnecessary!

Our school has successfully fundraised with Anodyne in the past - until this year. After prior communication with long lag time in responses, my representative, Megan, left our school without resources to begin a fundraiser up to the day of the event. No response, even after a follow-up. While she did disclose to me that she is new to this position, this does not warrant a compete lack of response. We are now left scrambling to find an alternative business. While many of us already felt conflicted supporting Anodyne amongst their employee wage dispute issues, we tried to stay the course due to success in the past, and their local and organic products. Now, they've chosen for us. When a business shows you how they treat people, know it applies to ALL people - not just employees. PLEASE, do not rely on Anodyne to raise money for your school or students!

This used to be one of my favorite places to go, but they have gone downhill so quickly I doubt that I’ll ever return. No more pizzas, fired all of their long term employees that actually knew what they were doing as a bad business practice to save money, and now you get a $10 unmixed chunky matcha, yay! What a waste of money
