First visit, went based on google maps ratings and was NOT disappointed. Food was delicious and had plenty to eat, service was great and wasn’t uber expensive.
I’m not in MKE so much any more, but will definitely put the is at the top of my list of choices for grabbing dinner before a bucks game.

Truly wonderful - Aperitivo hosted our wedding reception this September and I’m happy to share about our experience- From the staff to the food food and the beautiful venue, Richard and his team were a joy to work with Our friends and family were so well taken care of and had such a lovely time. The team went above and beyond to help make the night memorable for all. All the food pizzas, including GF options, tiramisu were top notch the bar staff made sure everyone was so well taken care of. From us and our friends and family we are so thankful for the great hospitality from the Aperitivo team ! (Bonus shout out to their great happy hour too!)

We had our rehearsal dinner at Apertivo and I cannot recommend them enough for any and all events! Richard was incredible to work with on our menu (we fed 55 people) and the space feels very private and inviting. They are able to help offer table cloths and candles, you can bring in your own decor within reason and they will plug in playlists/have audio available if you need it. The food...unmatched. They were also willing (and understanding!) and able to accommodate some extreme diet needs. We loved Apertivo before but we weren't sure how it would all scale for family style and, boy, did they deliver! The staff is all SO kind and very, very open to helping with whatever you need during the evening. Truly the best experience we could have asked for. Thank you, Richard and team, for making the kickoff to our wedding so memorable!

The top priority for any restaurant is, of course, the food, and the lunch we enjoyed at Apertivo was nothing short of spectacular—especially the Italian and the cheesesteak. Wow!
The ambiance was a relaxed blend of 19th-century industrial chic, reflecting the building's lively past as a hardware store.
Service was outstanding all around. When the owner discovered we were Dead Heads, he generously gifted us a vinyl copy of Dead Set. Absolutely amazing!
If you want to treat yourself, this is the place to be!

Terrible experience … ordered for pickup … when I got there to pick it up … they were confused for a few minutes after which they told me they need 15 more minutes to finish although it was already 10 min past the due time …. After I asked further they fessed up that they missed the order completely and are just starting it … no apology or a manager talking with me …… non offer for a drink while I wait or a coupon for next time I order …. So sad zero customer service :(

Honestly amazing experience both times I ate here. Came here during a week long trip to Wisconsin and I loved the chicken Caesar foccocia sandwich so much I had to come back before I left. Waitress was really kind and efficient, even went the extra mile to check the back for what Caesar dressing they use when I asked. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. I ordered a special vodka sauce gnocchi. It's was incredible, garlicky, well seasoned, cooked to protection. The Tiramisu was amazing as well, although not on the menu given, upon request. Great atmosphere, amazing food. Maybe make the tables/chairs less wobbly

Our food was fantastic. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. We tried the caprese and tuna paninis and the funghi pizza. They all were delicious and I'd recommend trying them all. The tiramisu was also very well made and tasty. The waitress said they make it in house. Great restaurant. There is some street parking nearby, but we parked in a "$3" lot a few blocks away right off the highway since it was just easier.
