The Zeus burger is unique and excellent. Gyros are decent and generously portioned. The service is always extremely friendly.

Apollo has been a family favorite for nearly 20 years and their food continues to be excellent. Stopped in for the combo plate with gyro meat, dolmathes, spanikopita and most importantly their AMAZING lemony potatoes. The owner and his son were behind the counter - such friendly people too. Love supporting this local delicious restaurant and we'll be back!

I love Apollo!! It is unbeatable—I always get their tuna souvlaki, and it’s unbelievable!! I always ask for the pita to be kept separate, though, as I find it gets a little soggy otherwise. They’re always happy to accommodate!

We ordered the tiropita triangles online for pick-up, as a night snack. The order was ready very fast, the worker was friendly when we went in and the restaurant looked clean and inviting. The food was delicious and still hot even after walking back to our Airbnb. If we were back in Milwaukee, I would definitely go here again for a full meal.

I don’t usually leave many reviews here, but I decided to give a chance to this jewel of a restaurant a couple of weeks ago and I was immediately blown away with the excellence of its service, the quality of the food and the eclectic atmosphere of the place. I’m a great fan of greek culture to the point of dedicating a great extent of my career and life to the study of philosophy/ancient greek history, however I grew up in a place where finding authentic greek cuisine is very hard. The food’s quality is superb, I’ve tried a couple of things off the menu and so far I recommend some of my favorites like the Athenian chicken, the gyros or the spanakopita (but honestly you can taste the quality in everything that you can possibly order, they offer a bunch of healthy options and there is something for everyone in the menu, trust me; also try the lemonade or Mythos, the hellenic lager!). Shoutout to the staff, specially Spyros. The staff is welcoming, detail-oriented and engaging. Honestly, they make you feel like you are a part of the family. Without a doubt, the most welcoming environment and service that I’ve experienced so far in any restaurant here in Milwaukee has been at Apollo cafe. Thank you so much for sharing your traditional recipes and culture with our community. I’m learning a lot and I absolutely appreciate tasting dishes that I never had the opportunity to experience before. You definitely have a returning customer here!

The staff were extremely friendly and the inside was very cool. We first ordered the Avgolémono which WAS SO GOOD. We also ordered the Beef Souvláki with feta cheese which was good and the 1/2 Athenian Chicken was my mom's favorite and a gyro.

Apollo Café never disappoints! I had a Mediterranean salad with chicken, and it was amazing as always—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying. Their tzatziki sauce and warm pita bread are absolute staples and always a hit. I can never get enough of them!
The quality of the food here is consistently excellent, and it keeps me coming back time and time again. If you’re in the mood for delicious Greek food, Apollo Café is a must-visit!
