This is the first time I have made such a suggestion to a restaurant: you should raise your prices! I felt guilty paying less than $30 for two orders of Shrimp Shumai and two varieties of California rolls that turned out to be the best sushi I’ve ever enjoyed in Milwaukee County. Bravo, Awi Sushi!

This is my favorite place to get sushi! I’ve gotten takeout for lunch a few times now. The raw rolls have the freshest fish I’ve had in the Milwaukee area (and we’ve tried quite a few sushi places in this area). I’m blown away by the amount of options they have for different rolls too. It’s fun to try something new each time. My order is always ready faster than I even expect, and it is packaged in a way that makes it easy to walk back to my office.

Really tasty sushi rolls, out of the three we ordered we couldn't choose a definite favorite. We ordered a sake they had on the menu, and we heard the staff talking about it for fifteen minutes before telling us they don't have it, so that was kind of frustrating getting edamame before any drinks

Awi Sushi did an incredible job accommodating our large party of 12 at rush hour while Northwestern Mutual was in town for their conference. The sweet lady was so quick to get a table for us, drinks passed out and order taken. And the sushi was incredibly FRESH and saucy all at really great reasonable price. Would be coming back most definitely!

Working at city hall there are endless options for lunch right outside and only a few blocks away...so why do I eat here honestly like 2-3 times a week? Because the food is amazing, the staff are super friendly and I always feel welcomed and leave feeling full and satisfied. From the poke bowls to the sushi this place is top notch. Highly recommend anyone looking for great sushi in downtown MKE to support this family run business. See you guys very soon - as always!
