I love this place. I go there a few times a week for bolillos, pan acambara, empanadas and churros as well as assorted other pastries. For special occasions the tres leches cake is wonderful!

I don't speak much Spanish so I rarely have any clue what I'm buying, and it's almost always both fantastic and cheap as hell. Do yourself a favor — go in here with like $10, grab six random things, and have yourself a good time. I got a croissant type thing that was filled with jalapeno, cream cheese, and ham the other day and it blew by brain.
This place is a treasure.

Terrible service, they gave me something that looks nothing like the cake I ordered without adding, they called me at 2 in the afternoon to ask about the image that I had already left 3 days before, it is horrible, terrible service and the cake they gave me is horrible

I had order in the past and cakes were good and beautiful! Ordered a cake on 09/23/24 and picked up on 09/24/24 I was given the cake in the box taped up , I trusted it was going to be good so I left! Got home to find the cake was damaged and decorations were done by a third grader! I called to complain and I was blamed for the ugly crappy cake! I will not buy again from there! I found out that is new owners new employees! Horrible customer service bad cake decor! Cake was supposed to look like this in photo 1 but I got this photos 2,3,4

I am writing this review to offset the one star review concerning the customer’s gender reveal. Gender reveals are incredibly lame. I am glad that they did not dye their cake pink or blue! First you behave like a lemming just following along with the billion other couples who’ve already took part in this ridiculous fad. It’s stopped being exciting the second it became popular. Since you felt the need to assist in pounding this tired bit deeper into its grave you have the right to “Karen” on a small bakery?!? You obviously have amazing taste?.

Ruined my gender reveal. Ordered the cake a week in advanced and explained the concept three times - I wanted the cake dyed either blue or pink depending on the gender of the baby. My sister called to give them the gender. They didn’t dye the cake at all. The cake I ordered was supposed to be tres leches but it was dry and didn’t taste great. Will never purchase from here again.
