In my humble opinion they have the best pizza you can find in the greater Milwaukee area! Cracker thin crust with generous toppings. Semi sweet pizza sauce that makes their pizza’s a winner for me and my family!

Delicious (and safe) gluten free pizza options! I get some every time I visit Milwaukee. They also have gluten free garlic bread options (made with gf pizza crust)
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza crust available, also used for gf garlic bread. Workers are good at avoiding cross-contamination.
Parking: Parking lot and street parking are shared with all the other nearby shops, parking a block away is normal.

The sauce tasted like canned tomato paste. The chicken reminded me of public school lunch. The pizza was OK, yet it could have been seasoned better.

I have been eating at Balistreri's since I was in middle school. Every time my sister's and Dad come to Milwaukee we go to Balistreri's for food. The pizza is fantastic and my other favorite is the chicken Alfredo, but don't leave without the bread, garlic or cheesy bread!!! Yum! Wicked Mouth-watering delicious food! The service is wonderful and I love that they play music from Italian singers!

Let me start by saying we are normally very happy here! However, we are sick of being taken to the tiny 2 seater table in the walkway when there are many other 2 seat tables available! Not to mention there are a lot of couples at 4 toppers! Anyway, that's how this night started. They then took us to the booth like table to the right of the door and we said fine. If you frequent Balistreris you know! After 10+ minutes on a not overly busy night our server went to the table that came in after us and then stopped by to say he'll be back. Lol. After a while he did. We ordered and got our breaded mushrooms but the sauces were wrong!! When our pizza Finally came....this was after the people he took before us placed their order, received it, ate and were waiting to pay, we got our pizza!! It was not even close to well done like we ordered. The cheese was so white like it was barely cooked. So dissapointing because we normally love it here.
This was just a zero for us.

If you love pizza or Italian food, this is a place to go. Their thin crispy pizza comes in 3 sizes. The large is large. It takes up half the table. The medium is a nice size and then, of course, the regular, if you're just alone, it's perfect. The waitresses and waiters are fantastic. You're greeted right away when you walk in the door. I've been going to this restaurant since the early 70s. Oh, and don't forget to order the breaded eggplant BEST IN THE CITY
