First time at the Bay View location. Bought some paczki. I have been eating these for well over 55 years. I can honestly say this is the worst one I've ever eaten. It was a prune one, my favorite! But it was dry and flavorless. And the prune filling wasn't even real prune filling! It was more like a prune custard. That was so disappointing. If you're going to make paczki in a neighborhood with a lot of Polish people in it, please stick to an authentic recipe! Don't try to jazz it up. Don't try to make it healthier. Fat Tuesday is a big deal in these parts. What a waste of money.

My favorite little bakery with so many options! I’m so glad batter & mac moved to Bay View and filled a space we so desperately needed. My family is obsessed with the cake donuts and sandwiches and excited to try more. As an added bonus, every time I’ve stopped in the people behind the counter are SO kind and welcoming.

I myself run a bakery in the area and have for 13 years. It’s sad to see people come and leave you bad reviews based on comparing you to other bakeries and what THEY think you should be doing. With that said, I am glad you took over this spot. You have fantastic bakery. The cheesepocket with the chocolate took a childhood favorite to the next level and your donuts are probably the best i’ve had in recent years. I bought a coconut creme tapicoa pie for Thanksgiving and my family and I just absolutely LOVED IT. You can tell you use quality ingredients and your staff knows what they are doing. The ladies working Thanksgiving morning were amazing! Friendly and super helpful. I’m glad to have you as an addition to our neighborhood! Ive always told myself that for every complaint I ever got there were always a dozen more positive one to weight out that bad one. Im also delighted that you stand up for yourselves! Bakers work hard and you deserve all the good recognition!! We will be frequently stopping by!

The absolute tastiest treats, we love having them in this space and have been frequenting weekly since they opened. The donuts are fantastic, not overly sweet like other places, absolutely delightful.
The buildings layout, and people not paying attention to those around them, makes for frustrating lines when it's busy, which drives my brain insane. But I'll happily suffer through to get at these tasty treats made by these lovely people!

Me & my family were hoping it would be like the previous bakeries in this spot. They had less items to choose from. Donuts & cookies were not that great. Ham & rolls were kinda basic. They're more of a fancy cake store. Seems they cater to the upper class & wealthy. Not impressed
Made my 1st visit to Batter & Mac Sunday. We missed having bakery close again. Went for Ham & rolls, then few pieces of bakery. Everything was good and tasty. Employees very welcoming and nice. Thank You Batter & Mac for bringing Bay View a Good Bakery again! Cheese pocket better than I've had!
