Purchased shoulder dinner! It was stringy, tough, and cut up in big hunks, greasy, hardly any BBQ sauce on it! Baked beans taste like pork n beans and coleslaw had a sour taste to it! My first time eating here and my last! I threw the food in the trash that’s how disappointed I was! I like good food not nasty food! I wasted $18! Would not recommend anyone to go here! Met some folks outside and they had the perch dinner and they said it was salty and not cooked well! They also said they wouldn’t come back either!

They specialize in fake soul food breakfast. The salmon croquettes were horrendous. The pancakes were microwavable. The eggs were liquid and unseasoned. This was the worst breakfast ever. I should have known it was fake soul food when I saw Jose and his cousins cooking in the back.

The fish was not bluegill I never seen it look like perch or catfish and it tasted as such this was my very first time eating there.But I wasn't satisfied and will not be returning.

It is one thing to come and place a order for food that you think is barbecue when it's actually boiled. I just don't know what to say. The attitude that the cashiers give to you is phenomenal. That's something that they need to and really improve on. If you come into spend money you should be able to have a pleasant experience, not attitude at one point in time the food actually did taste like they were actually using a real grill. Don't boil it and throw it on the grill to give it a smoke flavor

My wife picked up the food, but she ddn't have any complaints about the atmosphere or the service.The food was great! We got the shoulder and rib tips. The sides were greens and mac and cheese. Now I have had better, but this was as close to my better then I have had in a while. The portions was incredible. If I had any complaint it would be to have more sauce on the shoulder meat.??❤️

Everything was goodI had the Big Daddy's BBQ Combo. It included 2 meats, baked beans and coleslaw. I selected the rib tips and shoulder. The tips were very tender and seasoned just right. The shoulder was tender for the most part. Some of it was kind of stringy but that was cured by further chopping it up. The sauce was really good also. But I'm the type of person who has to have everything spicy. Unfortunately, they don't serve a spicy sauce. So I made my own and mixed them it was great. The only problem I ran into was I actually ordered ribs and got rib tips. If you should be in the area I would definitely stop ln.
I had my daughter order me a rib tip dinner with a small side of Mac and cheese. Omg this was the most disgusting food ever. It was clear the tips were old. They were very dark on the outside and soggy in the inside. The gristle was very clear and see through. After two bites my stomach started to feel queasy as if I was going to throw up. The Mac and cheese was flavorless and mushy. Now I’ve eaten here before and never have I ever had food like this. I had my daughter return this meal for a refund. I am waiting for her return. They should not give her any problems. For damn near $24, I was expecting something worth eating and not old.

Big Daddy's food at 92nd and Capitol Dr was surprisingly good. I got the shoulder dinner and it was awesome, later in the day they will run out of the sides, so plan accordingly.

Walked in and the employees were sitting in the dining room with their feet up, No big deal it was slow. However as I stepped up to order the cashier couldn’t seem to be more bothered by my presence, as if I was disturbing her peace. Got the food home and it was just average nothing special and definitely nothing that would make me to want to come back. Plus the meat that I ordered had quite a bit more fat then normally like.
