First time at Black Sheep and it did not disappoint. The happy hour specials were very reasonable. Food was delicious and our server, though her first day serving alone, was great! Will definitely be back.
Such a beautiful restaurant! Quick and very kind service the energy and atmosphere were just incredible!!
Good food, good service interesting options.
The host was very attentive and helpful with food choices will definitely revisit again soon 🏡
Went for dinner on a Wednesday and had an OK experience. Ordered the pork shoulder risotto that was served over cheesy white rice, poutine that didn’t have any sausage gravy, and the flank steak was sliced pretty thickly and with the grain rather than against. We were also told the drinks were happy hour when we sat down (ordered wine and beer), but were charged full price. We didn’t feel comfortable mentioning these things to staff due to how busy it was and lack of engagement from staff, but that could be projection of course. Spent a lot of money to learn this place wasn’t our cup of tea.
**owner reached out and provided us with a gift card! A great business practice - will be back soon to give this place another try. Thank you for listening and taking such quick action!
The brunch spot for sure! Music! Energy!Food! Drink! Smiles!
Extremely friendly staff across the board (host, server, food runner). Emily W was especially great. Food was delicious and fast; super unique options you can’t find everywhere else.
Great food. Too loud.
Decided to stop in for Sunday brunch. We were greeted right away by a host who was very warm & kind. Our server, Patrick, was also kind and attentive. We ordered the chicken & waffles and the poached pear toast. The waffle left something to be desired but the chicken was PHENOMENAL. Poached pear toast was also delicious. I would have switched the bowl of fruit for something else however (too much fruit given it was pear toast). Overall would come again!
Bloody Mary 8.5/10 :)

Great meal across the board- we enjoyed the truffle popcorn, Caesar brussel sprouts, wedge salad, and chimichurri steak w/garlic mash and loved everything. Vibe is dark and fun inside with a big Christmas tree. It is a loud space when full but our seat by the window was tucked away from most of the noise! Would definitely go back a recommend!

If you find yourself in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point, Black Sheep MKE is a delightful spot to enjoy a trusted savory meal
During my visit, I was greeted by a friendly bartender/elementary school teacher who was eager offered me some lively conversation comparing the contrasting flavors of malort and Fernet—definitely a fun and interactive discussion that improved everyone's knowledge.
The vibe here is laid-back and perfect for a daytime hangout. I tried the Mushroom Melt sandwich, which felt surprisingly healthy, especially when paired with their fries which I loved.
Not just a restaurant, but an experience that warms your heart as much as it fills your stomach. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink and some comfort food!

Great place for lunch! We had the Hangover Burger and the Poached Pear Toast, both good choices for lunch. Their drinks are interesting and enjoyable as well. Not too busy even on a Saturday afternoon

My son and I were there for brunch today. Riley was our server and was amazing! Great personality, helpful and knowledgeable! Food was excellent. We shared the poached pear toast, my son had the breakfast sandwich and I had the white sheep breakfast. Drinks were spot on! Bloody Mary, specialty Mimosa and the must try Black Sabbath!! Very impressed with this place!
