Went for lunch, due to a recommendation, first visit, also the last. The macaroni cheese had been reheated many times, no moist cheese sauce. Garlic bread required a hack saw. That was my wifes. Mine, was at least edible after I broke through the backed potato. Also, very noisy place, floor slippy, table sticky. Very poor.
I was hungry and me and my friend decided to check Blue eggs out I looked at the reviews and they were pretty good so we went and when I say omg the parking lot was packed. I’m like this food must be good. We went in and the host set us at the table right away I just knew we were going to have to wait because of how packed it was in there but any way The waitress came to the table her name was Gime She was so nice. She asked us had we ever been there before we told her no so she started explaining the menu to us we placed our order food came out. It wasn’t steaming hot. It was OK but it tasted delicious. Very good food. Gina was really cool. Very nice lady. I wish we had more Gina’s.

I’ve been here a few times over the past 2 years and I feel like there is something going on with their management because the staff seems on edge, the food quality is hit or miss for the price they charge and the hosts are unfriendly in general (one of them was obviously the manager or owner as well). Will not be returning anytime soon.
The food was great. Very friendly servers as well.

A Milwaukee staple! do yourself a favor and schedule a reservation!!!! Expect to pay at least $15/person per plate. Prices caught me off guard - this place is expensive! The food is great! Loved the back area that feels like an entirely different restaurant. Staff were all so wonderful and sweet. The bakery items were WAY to sweet for me, but I must say their selection is full of different flavors and goodies.

Best Gluten-free Pancakes I've ever had!
I can't say enough good things about the gluten-free pancakes here. They're hands down the best I've ever tasted. Perfectly fluffy, golden, and with just right hint of sweetness, you'd never guess they're gluten -free. They serve Milwaukee Maple Syrup. Let me tell you, I'm not a hash brown lover, but they have a really good ones. I highly recommend this place, specially if you can't have gluten. Portions are generous size.

Blues Egg is amazing! Every thing we ordered for breakfast tasted fresh and my picky gran daughter loved her fluffy pancake and fries. I ordered scrambled eggs, which were decadent and mushrrom stuffed Browns, BE signature hash browns. Buttery and cooked to perfect, then topped with a creamy, savory, cheese sauce. Sigh. We will return soon!!
