One of our new favorite spots! I have been meaning to try Bread House for a while.
I don’t live in Milwaukee, but Madison is not so far away.
So, of course, we had to try a bunch of different items.
All the dips, the topped hummus, baba ghanoush, and skillet tomatoes (forgot the name) were amazing! The hummus alone was so silky and smooth.
The bread is super soft and fluffy; we had the flatbread with different toppings. Very good! My favorite was the za'atar one.
We had something I’ve never had before called Stromboli (stuffed roll) with Akkawi white cheese, and it was my favorite. So, so good!
And we can’t forget the falafel, with the hummus and the fluffy bread. perfection!

A Taste of Home in Wisconsin!
Bread House is my absolute go-to spot whenever I miss having a traditional Arabic Middle Eastern breakfast. This place truly feels like home. They are perfect for breakfast or lunch, and everything is always made fresh on the spot, you can really taste the difference.
This time we ordered: the spinach pie, potato pie, Akkawi cheese pie, the hotdog pastry, and the egg manqousha. Every single item was delicious as always. We also got two Lotus cheesecakes for dessert, and they were amazing. If you are looking for authentic, fresh manaqeesh and pastries, this is the place to be.

10/10 service, food, and experience! The workers were EXTREMELY welcoming, and the baked goods were warm, soft, and seasoned perfectly. Loved how they used the right amount of cheese for all of their manaeesh. Their middle eastern appetizers had great portions too (baba ghanoush, veggie plates, etc). Can’t wait to come back!
