Typical bar, nothing to make the place really stand out. This would all be forgivable except for the fact that the service here absolutely sucks. The waitresses always passed me by whenever I tried to get their attention, and when I was finally able to place my order they would constantly walk by me again and say things like 'your order is next ' but I would be either served after people who arrived after me, or I would have to wait 20 minutes after being told that I was the next person to be served.

Only reviewing their food. Chicken dinner was weird. 1 leg under cooked and they held back a wing so I got 2 legs. The other one was so scary with bone bleed or something that the meat looked unappealing. Then the 2 pc breaded cod. Hard, dry cornmeal? breading. 1 piece was overcooked and hard. Tots were good, but they overcooked the potatoe pancakes where I had to trim off the majorly burnt edges. The server for my call in order was very nice and friendly.

Under new mgt., since last June. Fish had nice crispy batter. Clam chowder was excellent. Wait staff informative & attentive. Plan on returning soon. Salmon entree offered only during Lent.

I don't know how the food was because we waited 20 minutes to place an order , nobody can to take our order. We went some where else to eat and drink. Keep up the good work you won't be open that long.

Fish fry was good but we waited almost an hour to get our food. The kitchen must be to small. Our server was very attentive.

Came here for the first time recently for lunch. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly staff. It turned out it was actually the owner and the GM who served me. It’s awesome to see a place where the owner helps out with day to day operations. I got a bloody mary which was really good with a great garnish and 8 wings. The wings were fried then grilled and tossed in Buffalo sauce. I love wings so I'm usually pretty critical and these were good. Not the best I’ve ever had but pretty darn good. Nice sauce to crisp ratio, classic buffalo sauce. I’m excited to try the rest of the menu and the alternating soul food and puerto rican specials on certain sundays. I feel lucky to have something like this place walking distance from home. Great vibes and they really make you feel like a friend right away.

Love love this place! Their brunch is out of this world. But I love when they host events like jazz night and you can watch the sport games or enjoy the live music entertainment and have some of their drinks and great food!

Under new ownership I believe. Went there twice in the last two months. Service real bad the first time, worse the second. Not crowded at all. I want owners to succeed. They enhanced the inside quite a bit. Food prices went up, quality went down. Service is ridiculous at best. If changes aren’t made soon….. Good
