Their cookies are a fast, easy and thoughtful thank you gift. They have cute boxes and tasty sweets. The public voted with their dollars and the line was a great indicator of a worthy stop.
Very nice spot in the Milwaukee Public Market! I always make sure to stop by to check out what new cupcake flavors they have. Got a mini key lime pie & mexican hot chocolate (I think?) cupcake last time we went, but unfortunately, we didn’t really enjoy the key lime pie and found the cupcake to be good but slightly too sweet. Overall though, I’ve enjoyed their sweets (esp their cupcakes) and would recommend trying them if you visit the public market.

Very cool sweet spot located in the Public Market and is really set up perfectly for people shopping around the market and for those who are excited about trying bakery goods! Although the items are smaller portions, everything is flavorful, sweet, and delicious! Super friendly staff and a great business for the market community and culture.

Yesterday my daughter and I had the pleasure of visiting C. Adams Bakery, for the 15th time (specifically for the pot de crème) and I can confidently say it’s a true gem for anyone with a sweet tooth! From the moment you step close to the counter you’re greeted by an absolutely beautiful selection of baked goods that are as visually stunning as they are delicious.
The presentation of the treats is impeccable, with each item thoughtfully arranged and beautifully packaged. It’s evident that a lot of care goes into not only the baking but also the presentation. The sandwich cookies are a particular standout—huge, soft, and bursting with flavor! They are a delightful treat that you won’t want to miss.
However, the real star of the show for me was the pot de crème. It is, without a doubt, the BEST I’ve ever tasted! Silky, rich, and perfectly balanced, it’s a dessert that leaves you craving more. I could easily indulge in this heavenly creation every day!
The customer service at C. Adams Bakery is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help you find the perfect treat. Their passion for baking and commitment to customer satisfaction truly enhances the overall experience.
If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by C. Adams Bakery. With its stunning selection, incredible flavors, and wonderful service, it’s a delightful destination for anyone who appreciates quality baked goods. I can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing offerings!

I got the heath cookie bar and it wasn't the greatest. It was soft but it just didn't really taste like much.. I should have gotten the peanut butter chocolate chip. I will try that next time I go there. The other treats look good. I would recommend going here.

This has to be the best bakery in the city. I’ve had so many different desserts from so many different shops and this spot is hands down the best one I’ve been too yet.

I have stopped by twice now and both times my desserts were very dry. The first time I tried a large snickerdoodle cookie and an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. They were hard, as if they had been cooked and left out for several days. Today, I tried a cupcake and it was also very dry and the cherry frosting had a medicine flavor.

We got our wedding cake from C. Adams/Black Twig Bakery. Had a funfetti cake with strawberry frosting, and 2 sets of cupcakes, one chocolate cake with oreo frosting and one funfetti cake with strawberry. Both were delicious, perfect texture and moisture, and tasty without being overly sweet. It was easy to work with them as well, and prices are very reasonable. (Photo via NarrowLeaf Photography.)

My friend and I always get each other a cake from here for our Birthdays. Most recently Karina took my phone call to place my order and she was very kind and helpful! Their carrot cake is so delicious! Ive also tried a few of their pasties on display and they’ve always been good too.

Oatmeal choc chunk cookies one of the best I’ve had. Super soft chewy and large chocolate chunks, tasted very fresh even at the end of the day. Would 100% recommend
