I think Café at the Plaza has to be one of my all time favorite, if not favorite breakfast places in the city. Whether you’re sitting at their art deco diner counter, watching your food get prepared right in front of you or dining in their towering ivy courtyard, there’s just something special about this place. Situated in an old, art deco style hotel, Café at the Plaza’s food is always fresh and tasty, they have diner staples like pancakes, omelettes, eggs benedict oh and out of this world hash browns.But don’t take my word for it, come and try this place yourself!

Went specifically there just to have breakfast. Outstanding!
Our first visit was certainly not our last. I had the traditional eggs Benedict which were very well prepared and filling. I was very tempted by the shrimp and grits....next time. My wife liked the traditional breakfast. We both enjoyed sitting counterside and watching the food preparation. Coffee hot and plentiful. We'll be back...Go early or be prepared to wait, we went on a Sunday prior to 9. About 20 minutes for 2 of us, after we left the lobby was very full.Art deco hits my soft spot and its very present throughout the entrance and diner area. I can't imagine trying to cast the crown mounding in plaster.No idea if the rooms are similarly adorned.A very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Good place for breakfast or brunch. They don't have homemade bakery, but they do use local vendors & farms. It is a good go-to place that is consistent.
All I can say is that Wendel is amazing. He made sure that everything that went out to tables was 5 star. This was my first time, and all I can say is that the service and food are incredible. Other guests are friendly and inviting. I had the build your own omelet and a bloody mary. Both were awesome. I came alone for brunch after church. I will be back but bringing others. Thank you for the 5 Star Experience!
