Had mussels which were extremely fishy. Sent them back for a non descript watermelon salad which had virtually no watermelon in it. Beer was great but food continues to slide with lowlands.

Great food and service. We sat in the covered and partially heated outdoor seating.

Had breakfast at Cafe Benelux when staying close by the Third Ward. The Cafe is quite large with a big central bar and lots of seating inside and upstairs outside. The ambience is very nice as was my server, Kenna. I had the Short Rib Fajita Hash ($19), and it was a sizeable portion and kept me going all day!! The coffee was good too ($3). Well worth a visit.

Drink prices were I think a bit too high but one knows what one's getting into when they sit down. I decided to have a adult beverage recently and was shocked at the prices for just a beer and a hard seltzer.

Had an early brunch here- we were able to get in without a reservation right away. Tried the burrito and chicken and waffles - both delicious and perfect amount of spice

Went on a Saturday afternoon. It was crowded but certainly not swamped. We sat at the bar and waited for at least 10 minutes without being acknowledged. There were no less than 5 people working behind the bar. My wife finally said ‘excuse me’ and then all of a sudden we were ‘in the club’. One in particular was a girl with a flower crocheted bandanna that just pretended no one existed. It was just weird, no one would make eye contact. One dude (I think named Eleuthera) was what I would deem as rude just walked by us over and over and pretended we weren’t even there. We were gonna order more than just an app but with the awful service we ate our bread and then left.On top of that they didn’t clear the bar after people left. We had to push the dirty glasses up so they would move it. Then a couple left next to us and the dirty plates sat there for 20 minutes. Will be our First and last time there. Very disappointing for a Lowlands place. Do better.

Always a great choice for consistently great food and atmosphere. I live here in the Third Ward and have many choices. Cafe Benelux is solid for tasty food. Zianna and her trainee provided friendly service today, and my Sprocket burger and High Speed Wit were on point!

Cafe mocha is a hard yes. Kale dip is outstanding. There is, however, no discount for saving a patron's life. 5/5
