Did take out, but during the few minutes wait, it seemed like staff did well.

Spent $30 on a breakfast burrito and one French toast. Included a side of guacamole and tip. I was trying to avoid spending $25 at my favorite weekend buffet. I won't be avoiding that anymore, as I have yet to regret that bill.
I had a wet burrito with mole. $17. I asked for carne Asada and didn't taste any meat at all. At one point I started smashing through the black beans to see if any were meat. The couple of diced pieces I pulled out confirmed some meat was present, but not enough to taste or add to the meal.
The bottom of the burrito was crunchy. I'm not sure why.
Interesting flavors but not worth it at this price point and being almost meatless.
Nice atmosphere and space though.
This is a true, quaint, neighborhood Cafe. Authentic, well prepared and well presented Mexican food. The actual venue really needs updating, but you know, that's part of the charm.
November 2025: I went to Cafe Corazon in Riverwest with three family members to celebrate a birthday. Two of the family members are ADA.
When we arrived, we were welcomed by staff and seated at a lovely booth at the back of the restaurant near the restroom, which was perfect. There was enough space for us all and the location was what we preferred. Very accommodating. Our waitress was wonderful and friendly! I believe her name was Selene. She provided exceptional customer service.
For lunch, I ordered the avocado salad with chicken and it was amazing! Fresh, quality ingredients, filling, and I liked the seasoning on the chicken.
My family ordered the steak tacos, both Mexican and American style, and the breakfast tacos on the brunch menu. We all loved our food!
To end the lunch, we had their homemade Tres Leches Cake topped with toasted coconut. It tasted like it came right out of some Abuela's kitchen. It was so good!

Such a unique fun unexpected setting with outstanding service (Tony was a great bartender)and delicious food. Ordered the corn carnitas Enchiladas with mole and couldn't get enough of them. So good! Paired with their margarita made for a fantastic evening. Can't wait to come back!

This restaurant is a Riverwest gem. The squash burrito was full of flavor, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

The chips and salsa were so good.
We tried two vegan dishes. The tacos and the tofu scramble. Both were delicious. We enjoyed the soy chorizo, tofu and mushrooms.
We always enjoy Cafe Corazon. We have eaten at the Bay View location and that good too but we really prefer the Riverwest spot. The outdoor seating is fun, the food and drinks are great and the service is excellent.
It’s a little more difficult in the winter as the dining room is small, but ant wait is worth it!
Keep up the great work Cafe Corazon!!
Good food, cozy place, great service... I recommend it

It was nice that they had inside seating and we got to sit down the inside it was quieter and had air conditioning with which was nice. We were on a limited income due to my disability and I'm in a wheelchair so we stated what we had and basically the tacos were amazing but the service they didn't like talking
Vibes are wonderful 6 years later. Food is still good. It's still a full house. Every. Time. (Granted, it's small lol)
Corazon Salad
Asked for the beans and rice on the side, and the salad was super yummy with shrimp as protein. The shrimp was scrumptious, fat and juicy. Definitely will have again while on keto.
Best Burrito
Best of both worlds, I guess. It's not as smothered in sauce like the wet burrito, and it comes with both green and red sauces. Hubby prefers regular over wet, but tried this one, and likes best best.
Stuffed Bell Pepper
It's so stuffed that you can't see the bell pepper. Had to dig around to see that it did indeed have peppers. Haha. Friend says it had very good taste.
To remember, Corazon salad was da bomb.
Cozy place to hang out, decent food. $15-20/person kinda place
I was having the worst day and decided to get tacos for my family. On top of everything else happening, it turns out a dasher accidentally took my order. So to add to my day, this happens. The staff tonight was so awesome. They are one of the reasons that I was able to smile today. They rushed my order and even put in a complimentary tasty soup! I love the Bremen location, they are so personable and professional on top of the great food. Thank you for turning my night around!!! 10/18/24
