Not authentic Mexican food but tasty. The rice had some sort of Seasoning that was not good. Use of white onions would be better than yellow.

Very cool place! :D amazing food, awesome staff, great vibes !! Very good vegan options as well, my mom enjoyed the mushroom quesadilla a lot and I really liked the enchilada plate. The portions are generous as well, and leftovers are always exciting to me lol, and my favorite part is on Tuesdays they donate from taco purchases for a different local cause every month. It was my first time there, so I really want to make it next Tuesday because the organization for March 2024 seems really awesome ♡♡ edit: How could I forget to mention how beautiful it is inside?! colorful walls, decorated ceiling, tables with cool colorful flower patterns, and the walls completely decorated (there is a lot of Christian art as well specifically)

The food is very bland, and the seasoning salt they added to their tortilla chips really serves no purpose. It gives it no added flavor. The only thing that was good about this place is the green hot sauce. I'm not a fan of canned refried beans. The carnitas were mediocre, again I feel the good is bland. I have seen a lot of people like the food, but this is my opinion and I won't be going back.

Cute place and service was decent but I didn't like the rice or the chips and salsa. The rice had weird frozen vegetables in it that just seemed out of place. The beans were really good and the crema was delicious. They had a good selection of vegan options available and a bar area if you don't want a table or booth. Off street parking available.

How my food arrived via door dash. Absolutely disgusting. Looks like the driver shook up my food.

A slightly more upscale version of your typical Mexican restaurant. Serving success and quality are both good, and the restaurant has a large number vegan options as well. Easily accessible on the MCTS 15 bus to South Milwaukee, Cudahay, Downtown, and River West. Near countless other community amenities as well, good place to eat on a day or night out.

Had been to this location several times but never really sat down and ate, always ended up at the bar and liked the atmosphere. However, recently decided to eat there for dinner and was greatly disappointed. Started out with a house margarita and guacamole/queso apps before ordering chicken fajitas (company ordered steak fajitas). House margarita was good but was also made in bulk right in front of you which (to me) isn't professional (fill all those giant tubs in the back). Guacamole was zero flavor: no onion, cilantro, tomato, lemon - nothing. Tasted just bland with no care about whether it's good. Queso was OK, but obviously from some sort of can. Complimentary salsa was sweet and trademark from some sort of large can - probably a Sam's Club special with an added something to distract that it's not made in-house. When fajitas arrived my taste buds still wandered for flavor; chicken and steak were devoid of any flavor minus some pepper which didn't suit the Mexican course - try soy sauce or Sazón at a minimum! I cannot believe that people in this city put up with these restaurants. Seriously, the taco truck down the block makes far better food than this place, and my hostility towards this establishment comes from the fact that they don't even try - food was just bland and without care. But... People continue to go there and I'm baffled. It think it says something about our city as a whole that there are actually quite a few restaurants that serve food that has no love in it but still remain packed. Save your money people, go to a taco truck, you're taste buds and pocket book will thank you later.

I’ve been eating at Corazon for around 5 years and I always get the wet burrito. The last 3 times I’ve gotten less and less sauce. It’s so disappointing because it’s the only reason I get the wet burrito in the first place. Tonight I got a burrito with literally 0 sauce. It makes me sad because it’s gotta be the cheapest ingredient and the main reason I even get Corazon in the first place. That was probably my last attempt at giving Corazon another try.

Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and vegan options, and my soy chorizo enchiladas were delicious! The queso was very good.

Just had an online order from Cafe Corazon, and they nailed it! Quick prep, and the food was as fantastic as ever. Props to the team for making my lunch deliciously hassle-free. Whether in-person or online, Cafe Corazon keeps hitting the mark. Thumbs up! ?
