This is not a restaurant. Its typical hotel frozen breakfest that they charge you for.
Small buffet style, food descent, waitress attending our table was kind but I felt it was too pricey based on what they had (my personal opinion).
seams like the staff doesn't want you there. got up to get some fruit and came back to a cleared table. was never given a new drink or anything other than the check
It was delicious, we all enjoyed it.
Somewhat small portion size for what they charge.
It was edible but overpriced. Staff were nice though

I have a low bar when it comes to my expectations. I try to keep them reasonable. I wish I could say that this property cleared the bar. The common areas are very nice! Great history (almost 100 years). However…. Upon entry of my room I almost instantly requested a move due to a very strong odor (smoke, mustiness and, ummm, urine). That seemed to subside. Looking around I realized there was no mini fridge, the dresser drawers would not stay closed (wide open), and the bathroom was in great need of updating. At this point I was still fine (low bar). Until on the second night I spotted a cockaroach not much smaller than a mouse. I will be spending the rest of my stay sleeping with the lights on. Beautiful property…..from afar.
With us being Hilton Honors Gold members through my husbands AMEX Platinum we had credits of $18 that we needed to spend. We ordered two poached eggs and toast. The server questioned our choice and seemed confused that we hadn't order protein (eggs?). We were given the choice of how we would like the eggs cooked. The poached eggs arrived in a small serving bowl and the toast was delivered on an equally small plate. Neither of which had room to combine the two so we had to request some bigger plates. The server then brought one plate so we had to request another. Finally we were in a position to eat.By this point the toast was cold. Personally I'm not sure it was ever particularly warm. When we spread the butter, it lay on top of the toast refusing to melt. The eggs were borderline lukewarm at this point. Luckily they were runny, I had chosen the runny option and my husband had gone for soft. By the time we ate, we couldn't really tell the difference between our choices. We did however, enjoy the final result. It set us up for the rest of the day.

Easily the worst dining experience I have ever had. The French toast was rock solid & had to be peeled out of the pan, the eggs tasted like something out of a bag, they had no French toast, the bacon wasn't even edible which really says something. And then on top of all that they charge $22 a person for bland, barely edible food. When jt came to service, there was none. We got seated with no silverware, when I asked someone where to get some and if I could pull from a preset table they told me no and to find a different waitress to ask for some. We got offered coffee or water once and never again, they didn't explain if it was a buffet or if there was a menu. We waited twice as long for the bill as it took us to eat our one plate of food. I would recommend mcdonalds over this place. The fruit was the only good thing they had to offer.

Beautiful, peaceful atmosphere with great music and the service was excellent. The omelettes were tasty and cooked to order, but the rest of the food was just OK. Waffles were cold and floppy, syrup was ice

Unfortunately left without eating, paid for a coffee only. Tables were dirty, glassware was dirty, cream container had old brown liquid residue on it. Buffet was $21.95 and barely looked like a Hampton Inn continental breakfast. Under impressed.

Well located but tired, old hotel. This property has great potential but desperately needs a complete overhaul. The entry is horrible with no good option to park and check in and no one is out front to help. The beds are worn out. The a/c units are so loud you wake up when they cycle on. The staircase had no placard stating you can’t exit at the bottom (good for daily steps but very disappointing. I could go on and on. The staff we encountered were very nice but they were scarce.
Very good property. Easy to find right off the Highway. Stayed here for Summerfest. Hotel app is easy to use. Staff was friendly. Rooms could use a refresh but it is a classic hotel. We enjoyed the lobby bar. Hotel offers a Starbucks on the ground level.
This hotel is a beautiful Art Deco hotel located in a great location. Check-in is actually on the second floor as the bars and restaurants are on the first. Parking is easy in and out with your room key and is located just across from the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to meet our requests so shout out to Naomi, Nolan, Rob and Princella! Breakfast was good and comparable to a Hampton Inn breakfast only with more options. And Starbucks location inside the hotel as well. We had an easy walk (15 minutes or so) to several attractions in all directions. Our room was on the 19th floor with a view of the lake. The room was suitable and had a fridge. This is an older hotel so we took that in account. A slow sink drain, the bathroom door sticking and it seemed a bit warm considering how low we had the air set were the only quirks. We will stay here any time we visit Milwaukee!
