I always look for italian places while traveling and this is probably one of the top 2 I have ever been too. Everything here was absolutely amazing from the bread to the red sauce to just the hot cup of coffee after it all. The special of the day was to long to repeat here but good lord, I'd push my mother out of line if she was about to get the last one.

The food quality was slightly above average, I didn't think anything was great or poor from that standard. The service I felt was good. The waiter was really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The venue is small, seating is limited. I came with my family of 10 and they had 2 tables together with the chairs tightly side by side. I was grateful that they accepted a party that large but it was not the most comfortable experience. After we ate we generally sit around and order drinks, appetizers and continue to talk and have a good time. However, after being there for a little over 2hrs the host made it clear that another party is here and they are waiting on the table. Now I was ok because we were finished eating but some of my party was disappointed because they were enjoying themselves and wanted to order a few more refreshers. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back there.

What a wonderful dining experience our group of 8 had at Calderone Club. Food was amazing as was the service. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. We had been here a year or so ago == we were very happy to return to find food and service had remained at the high level we had experienced before. Can't wait to return.
Love it they treated me and my family so well…food was delicious and service was great amazing..

In August, I had a disappointing experience with one of the bartenders. However, I refused to let one person’s behavior keep me from returning to one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Milwaukee. I would especially like to thank Elijah for his outstanding and friendly service. He went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was absolute perfection. As someone with a severe dairy allergy and a low-sodium diet, I deeply appreciated the care and attention he gave to make sure my needs were fully met. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the kitchen team for preparing an appetizer and entrée that were not only safe for me but absolutely delicious. It is because of Elijah’s professionalism and kindness, along with the skill of your chefs, that I will continue to dine at the Calderone Club.
Terrible quality meats, pasta was insanely dry. The meats taste like it was freezer burned owner/manager lady with huge ego ensured us there meats are fresh and never frozen which is obviously untrue. Total of $90 wasted, we left the food on the table untouched, disgusted :( not real Italian cuisine

Random walk in met with a seat at the bar or a lone corner table on the sidewalk so of course I chose to check out the scenery which didn’t disappoint.
I started with the salad and ranch which was light and fresh along with some house made ranch dressing.
The NY strip was perfectly cooked and just the right amount of flavor which was accompanied by a vegetable medley.
The bread came out with softened butter and was perfect for cleaning my plates.
Luis was definitely a veteran and took great care of me.
Was it worth it? Yes sirrrrr!

Absolutely a great experience. I say experience because you're not just there for a classic Milwaukee pizza. I think they may have other Italian offerings as well. (The other dishes look great, but I was there for the pizza) I like the oblong shape and the crust is superb. This isn't a NYC slice to walk around with, it's a different style and it's a classic recipe still being made today for a reason. The sliced meatballs I got as a topping are not on the menu, but are not to be missed. I think the additional charge was effectively for a side of meatballs, but absolutely worth it. I had a slice of a friend's pepperoni and that doesn't disappoint.
