We had a long awaited date night in the city and the staff made it perfect. The dessert was amazing along with the crafted cocktails for a post dinner drink at the bar. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time at Carbon on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we got all the attention!
We decided to share all the dishes - caviar, wagyu, caesar salad, and steak frites. Everything was cooked perfectly, although I wish they were a bit more generous with the caviar.
The service was top-notch. Our waitress was attentive but not overbearing, and the manager came over to introduce himself and gave us some cake to celebrate our special occasion.
I would go back and try the seafood options next time! highly recommend.

A group of me and 14 friends went out for a birthday about a week ago and 1. We can't stop talking about every aspect of our experience. 2. The chef is fabulous with his creativity and attention to detail 3. Our waitress zotty also spot on with her attention to the customers and quality of experience there. 4.the manager was very involved and made sure that every table in the restaurant was in top shape. For a new restaurant we can't wait to see what this restaurant holds for creativity and making a name in such a beautiful city.

My boyfriend and I attended the grand opening of Carbon and truthfully had one of the worst experiences! The food was cold & mediocre and the service so so. They sat us on the 2nd floor next to the linen/storage closet. We had servers constantly throughout the night bumping into our table and my boyfriend’s chair while trying accessing things in the closet. This happened every 15/20 minutes (not exaggerating!) throughout our entire dinner! I was completely disappointed and annoyed by everything that night and promised I would never go back to this place! Fast forward a few months we heard the executive chef Matt Molli moved from Five O’ Clock to Carbon. Knowing Matt’s background in the industry and abilities I immediately knew I was going to have to give this place a second chance. A couple girlfriends and I planned a night out for dinner, excited to try the new menu and check out the improvements. Immediately sitting down at the bar we were greeted by the bartender who was super sweet and knowledgeable, she took fantastic care of us. Our server Zati was so sweet and knowledgeable of the entire menu and suggested some amazing dishes for us to try. When our food arrived EVERYTHING was absolutely phenomenal!! I had the filet with sautéed mushrooms and garlic mash. Everything was absolutely delicious and…….it wasn’t cold! ?? I have to say I am so happy that I decided to give this place another try! I’m so impressed by the improvements and you guys definitely upped your game since my last visit! I tell everyone I know to give this place a try if they’re in town and looking for a nice night out with great food!

Went there for our 2 year anniversary. great ambiance, not loud, and the food was fantastic. We got to do a “first look” and try a taste of something that wasn’t even on the menu yet (that was fun) and what we chose to eat and drink were fantastic. The host and waitress were appropriately attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be back again.

What an amazing place. We had a change in plans for a work dinner and needed someplace for 20 people on a tuesday night. Benny made it happen! The food was phenomenal and the service was great. Most of our group was from out of state and they all raved about this dinner the rest of the week. A+

Absolutely amazing! The environment was elegant and intimate with exceptional service. My girlfriends and I started out our experience with drinks at the bar which did not disappoint! They offered a variety of steak selections, including multiple Wagyu options. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the Wagyu was the best quality I’ve had. Our amazing server Zati provided us with amazing dessert recommendations including the Crème Brûlée and Smores martinis. This is a must visit spot when in Milwaukee!

Great location, friendly and attentive staff. The seafood tower was fantastic but my NY Strip was bad, just bad. Cooked to med-rare, but the meat was sub quality, lots and lots of gristle. I didn’t say anything as I was part of a large private event and everybody else seemed to enjoy the food. I’m guessing they use some private selection of beef because this was definitely not prime or choice and wasn’t advertised as such. This was grocery store standard quality. In the end the wine selection was good and cocktails inviting. I would ask the restaurant to double check the meat.
