Had a wonderful dinner at this gem of a restaurant and would highly recommend dining here to celebrate a special evening! We did the seven course experience and every plate was just as delicious as the last. Service was excellent and they are very accommodating of allergies. I have a gluten allergy and felt very safe eating here and was able to enjoy every course with very slight modifications!
The care that went into our meal was evident. Had the paella which was done as the chef's mother would have made, lovely. Immediately booked a return to try the prix fix menu.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at CAVAS, and I can honestly say it was one of the most special dining experiences we've ever had in Milwaukee. From the moment we walked in, we felt as though we'd been welcomed into the home of an established Spanish or Argentinian chef. Chef Ana and her husband Peter bring such warmth, hospitality, and passion to every detail — it's clear this is more than just a restaurant, it's their craft and their home. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. Each course felt thoughtfully curated, beautifully presented, and bursting with authentic flavor. We've dined at many restaurants in the city, but nothing compares to the intimacy and care you feel here. It's rare to find a place where you can experience both world-class cuisine and the personal touch of the people behind it. CAVAS is truly a hidden gem — Milwaukee is lucky to have it. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, whether for a special occasion or simply to treat yourself, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
We come to Milwaukee for various special events each year: Art in Bloom at the Milwaukee Museum of Art, and China Lights at the Boerner Botanic Gardens are both very special. Equally special is a magnificent meal at Cava. Chef Anna creates authentic Spanish dishes served with love and with pride. Many herbs come from Chef Anna's own organic garden. It is romantic, memorable and a very special experience.
What an amazing and unexpected experience in downtown Milwaukee. All of the reviews are spot on. Service is amazing and personal. Food is delicious! Make a reservation! You will not regret it!
Chief Ana and her husband Peter are amazing. The food and the overall experience were fantastic. This is definitely a place I would recommend for a special evening out.
We had an incredible experience dining here! It is a very small, family-owned dining institution and we loved the atmosphere. The server and chef went out of their way to create a great, intentional, and special experience. The food was also incredible!

What a wonderful delight! Our first time ever to Cavas, and it immediately earned a place in the top 10, maybe top 5 of our favorite fine dining spots in the MKE area. We enjoyed the set seven-course dinner, and will definitely be back to try the Paella. If you enjoy cocktails, do try the Nostalgia!
One of the most memorable dinners I've ever experienced. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for a special occasion/date night/anniversary. The food was fabulous and the service and atmosphere were so amazing. We will 110% come back again.

We visited Milwaukee for the very first time this weekend and our dinner at Cavas was the highlight of our trip! Chef Ana and Peter were absolutely wonderful. The food and service was top notch. We left our dinner with full bellies and were so very happy. We can’t wait to come back!

Best flan inner had! Excellent , flavorful food and very attentive and individualized service! Overall a very positive dining experience.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Cavas is a great spot for a date night or special meal. It’s guaranteed you will have a personal experience and delicious food. Make sure you book in advance! It’s a small restaurant with only a few tables.
If you’re looking for good paella in Milwaukee - look no further. The chorizo was amazing and had a great spice.
The menu is easy to understand - there is either an 8 course menu or you can paella (which comes with an appetizer, dessert, and cava, sparkling wine). Because it’s a small operation, you pretty much pick from a few options.
When we walked in, we were greeted by Chef, who is a wonderful cook but also so welcoming and kind. The service was very personal, which added to the dining experience.
It’s hard to pick if I preferred the appetizer, the Valenciana paella, the flan, or the bread pudding. They were all delicious! I will say, the flan was unique in a way that I really enjoyed.
Overall, I’m looking forward to returning here on a cold winter night or a long summer evening.

Wasn’t a Customer but was racially profiled outside of their establishment while waiting for friends to arrive for our night boat ride the bartender seen 4 black adults outside of the establishment, she came from around the bar and locked the door to prevent us from entering and once we knocked and asked why’d she locked the door she said it was because they have “reservations” as if to say we’re not welcomed and didn’t have the decency to even ask us if we had reservations prior to locking the doors. It was 7pm and they didn’t close until 9… we had no intentions on patronizing the restaurant but it’s clear that they didn’t want to service us anyway.
My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and it was perfect. We did the 8 course prix fixe menu and every single course was incredible!!! It is a small space (only five tables) and Chef Ana & her husband, which made it a very intimate and lovely experience! I truly think the empanadas (with slow roasted pork, caramelized onions and goat cheese and chimichurri) were some of the best I’ve ever had!! I can’t stop thinking about them and I can’t wait to come back and try their paella for two. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
