Found on recommendation from my sister easy parking atmosphere was good tables were a little close, but I’m OK with that. Service was excellent nice young lady. Food was most excellent. Would recommend this place and would like to go back for the jazz bar next-door met the owner on the way out told him about our experience. He was much appreciative great place.

We enjoyed the atmosphere at Centro Cafe, it's really charming and relaxing. It was nice to have quite a few gluten free options for a change! I ordered butternut squash lasagna and it came with a really fresh salad. I also got chocolate cake with a small side of gelato. I will be coming back for sure.

Celebrating Valentine's Day with a girls' night out at Centro Café was fabulous! I opted for the flavorful salsiccia pasta (sausage pasta), complemented perfectly by the spicy marinara sauce. While my friend and myself weren't thrilled with the bolognese due to the short rib being somewhat unflavorful and untraditional, our flourless chocolate cake was dense and delicious. Additonally, the waitstaff was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. The lively atmosphere, complete with a live band, added to the fun vibe of the evening. While this is not the most authentic or my favorite Italian spot, this cozy restaurant in Riverwest offers some great food options and a lively ambiance. I can't wait to return and try their cocktails--they looked amazing!

Wow! Great new experience on E Center in Riverwest! Started off with cocktails: Italian manhattan" with rye and a bunch of other exotics; and "Loren" with elderflower, gin, violet, basil & lime juice. Delicious!Garlic bread with sciotino's Italian with herbed garlic butter. A little salt made this really good. Small Caesar salad was huge with slivers of parmesan and very light dressing & croutons.Shrimp (six) scampi in wine & olive oil was light and flavorful with asparagus tips, garlic and other spices. Braised short beef colognes with rich Rosemary tomatoes cream and mushrooms with home made fettuccine. Both were memorable!!Finally for dessert (it was a special occasssion!), tiramisu was so rich and creamy with powdered cinnamon & powdered sugar, with the lady fingers imbeded deep in the serving glass; dont inhale too close to the powder like I did!!And 1 scoop of vanilla, hazelnut & chocolate gelato (3 scoops total).

This used to be one of my favorite places to go. I can’t believe how high the prices are for an entree that doesn’t even come with bread or salad. I had the gnocchi which was light on gnocchi and heavy on a just okay vodka cream sauce. The serving was small and the price was around $25. The slice of mozzarella was not able to melt in the sauce and I had to cut it with my fork. I used to order the gnudi but didn’t because it was not good the last time I was there. When I go out to dinner I am expecting something way better than I can make at home. There may be better things on the menu but I’m not willing to try again because it’s too expensive for what you get.

Centro Cafe is a really quaint and romantic restaurant offering really yummy pasta. I went a few years back and got the duck breast carbonara. So yummy. Today I ordered the gnudi and I was underwhelmed. It wasn’t great just ok. The menu description didn’t lead up to the actual presentation.

We frequent this spot because it’s consistently delicious. The Mediterranean pizza is hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. The drink menu is also 10/10.

We had a pretty awful experience here. We made a reservation for 6 people and showed up five minutes late, only to find that they had given our table for 6 to the couple right ahead of us. The hostess was extremely rude and when we asked if they could seat us anywhere she said "no probably not" and then we left. We went over to the bar area next door and then got a call that they actually could seat us, so they moved the couple to another table. What followed was 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged by anyone. The server was friendly and then the rest of the time was not, and we couldn't really understand why. I got shrimp scampi and it was the worst I've ever had. Tasted like noodles in oil with shrimp and no flavor. Pricey too. Other dishes were much better.

Had their seafood linguine that was to die for. Super tasty sauce, fresh pasta and the scallops and shrimp were perfectly cooked. Amazing.

Food was really good, but did not exceed expectations overall. The artichoke dip was the best item we got!Bolognese was heavy on the mushrooms for our taste, and the Giardiniera was flavorful, but I would go with something else next time around.

Was one of my favorite restaurants! Every visit is pleasant. My most recent one was fairly good. However their prices seemed a lot higher since the last time I’ve been here. I ordered the cacio e Pepe. It was just okay. 3 scallops and a small portion of pasta that was quite dry. My favorite part of the dish was the sautéed mushrooms. Sadly not $37 worth. However my boyfriend got the Short rib rissoto and that was excellent! Overall, food is good but pricey for what it is.
