Very slow food service. We waited an hour for food after ordering. Wait staff was aware of the slowness and was attentive/apologetic. Overall the food and atmosphere was good, just slow.
I have never waited longer for food. Appetizer took 20 minutes. Edamame should not be that hard. First entree order they were out of. After they came back and told me that, I ordered again. it took about an hour for that one.. They ran out of kimchi. The waiter was nice, but this was pretty hard to overcome. Plus we were seated near the kitchen, and they must have had a window or door open as our legs were cold all dinner, and that is saying something when the full dinner took two hours. The food was pretty good, but the amount of time it took plus them being out of items was weak.
Had a great dining experience at Char'd, the food, waiter, and ambience were all excellent-can't wait to go back!
Really tasty food. Service was kind of slow though. We were seated in the side room but I thought I made the reservation for the standard room.
It’s so so so good! The kimchi fried rice was so delicious and the spicy bulgogi was so good too!
Ok not my choice to go there

Delicious food. Loved that they brought out kimchi to snack on, instead of bread. I've never had it and it was so good!
Dinner was absolutely wonderful. The scallion pancakes, jap chae, and Mongolian beef were all excellent. Our server Stephen was the man. He was so sweet and kind, give him a raise. Highly recommend; go for the food, stay for the Stephen.

My husband and I visited on a Thursday night and it was very quiet. The restaurant is beautiful with chill, cozy vibes. The food was great. We got tteokbokki (rice cakes) appetizer and beef galbi and pork belly ssam. We had a pleasant experience overall and will come back!
Restaurant location and ambiance was great. Was told dishwasher was broken and food would take awhile. Lots of selections, asked at beginning if there were any allergies and advised of food with those allergens so that was nice. Food was just ok - medicore temperature and ok taste. I was expecting more with the 4.7 star review but would be willing to try it again.

Best salad ever. We will be back for more.
The food was delicious. Options for those who like spicy and those who do not. The service was great, too.
It was a nice quick dinner on a Monday evening. Our server was very nice and attentive; although she seemed to have excessive amount of tables to cover. I'll definitely be back for a quick light delicious meal midweek within my neighborhood.
Dinner and drinks were amazing! Great service and every food we tried was perfectly tender with great flavor! We already have plans to come back again soon!
This place is not Korean BBQ. It is Korean BBQ adjacent, but it is not KBBQ. This is a restaurant for diners that have never had real KBBQ.
When we asked our waiter about the lack of grills at the tables we were told that this isn’t “like Benihana.” This should have been our big billowing red flag to leave, but we remained hopeful that the food would make up for the lack of authenticity.
We ordered 4 entrees: beef galbi, pork galbi, braised pork belly, and grilled pork ssam. All 4 were brought out, with bowls rice, at the same time. There was no attempt to pace the dishes — just everything everywhere all at once.
The beef galbi was, as a beef dish, fine. It did not quite taste like galbi, but it was fairly tasty as a meal of food.
The pork galbi was the only food highlight. It was juicy, flavorful, and, inexplicably, did taste like authentic galbi.
The braised pork belly was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor.
The lowlight was the pork ssam. It was dry, overly salty, and lacked flavor. It was also served with romaine lettuce, which is ok, but there are many better lettuce options for ssam, not to mention perilla leaves.
There also was no banchan served with any of the dishes.
The cocktails were well made and the beers were nice and cold.
The venue is decorated very nicely, and, overall there was a good atmosphere.
If I had never eaten authentic KBBQ, I likely would have scored this restaurant higher, but knowing what the experience is meant to look like and taste like, I have to say that we were disappointed.
