I went on a date here with my boyfriend. We got the Korean wings as an appetizer which were fantastic. Our entrees were mediocre. I got the pork bulgogi and he got the braised belly which both seemed pretty dry. Our waitress was very sweet. If we were to go back, we would both get something different for entrees.

Another lovely lunch at Char'd! I can't say enough about the food here. Fantastic!! We had the bibimbap, the stonepot bulgogi, and the pork belly. All were delicious, hot, and quick to the table. Once again, we will be back. My son plans to bring his business associates when they're in town. Thanks Char'd for another wonderful meal!

Excellent food and bartender service. I would definitely visit this place again. Food is expensive but portions are large.

Stopped in for valentines this year since they were one of the few places serving a full menu. Food was terrific as always, Korean fusion had a soft spot in my heart before finding Char'd, but it's been taken to a whole new level lately. My fiancé and I love splitting a carafe of Soju as well, it's just the right amount to share. Service for such a busy holiday was excellent, and the mood was perfect. Their KFC wings hold a special place in my heart and I'd highly recommend starting there on your first visit.

Delicious!! Four of us shared two apps. Favorite was cauliflower. All dinners were great. Mine was vegetarian. Rice bowl with different veggies and tofu on top. Ssooooo good. Cooked in a cast iron skillet. Rice caramelized on bottom. Fantastic flavors with the right amount of heat.Vegetarian options: Selected the Bibimbap with tofu. It comes with an egg on top so I requested without that. Listed as vegan option so was a little surprised when ordering with tofu that they didn’t ask if I wanted with egg or not. Veg and vegan items labeled. GF listed clearly too. Tofu was fried. Prefer tofu not fried but it was a yummy and fun change of pace.

If you want authentic Korean food then I would not recommend this establishment. The service, presentation and atmosphere is exceptional, but the food was disappointing. I ordered the pork belly and my partner ordered the bibimbap. Both were flavorless. The bibimbap was overcooked and made most of the rice crunchy rather than soft. The pork belly had zero flavor and over the top chewy. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you care for decent Korean food, however if you enjoy Americanized versions then be my guest.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday with dinner here this year and it was an overall very nice experience, but the meal didn't live up to prior birthday dinners at Momo Mee, for example. I made reservations a few weeks in advance, though that probably wasn't necessary as the restaurant wasn't completely full when we arrived. We got seated right away and our waitress was very nice and got our orders swiftly. My husband got the Far East cocktail while I did the Yuzu Beez. We both enjoyed our drinks a lot. Mine was sweet and refreshing though got watered down kind of quickly. We started our meal with the shishito cauliflower and Togarashi fries. The cauliflower was amazing! Very flavorful and nicely cooked. The fries, in comparison, were a let down. For fries, they were good, but the Togarashi seasoning was a let down - there was almost no flavor to the fries and even the salt seemed lacking. It also doesn't come with any kind of dipping sauce, but our waitress brought over a gochujang sauce when we asked if they had any hot sauces. The fries do go well with the gochujang. For dinner, I got the tofu sweet glass noodles while my husband got the tofu bibimbap. We both thoroughly enjoyed the noodles, but in comparison were again disappointed with the bibimbap - everything was cooked well, but it just felt like it needed something more. They have one dessert option - the croiffle. We got this to celebrate my husband's birthday and the waitress even put a candle on it, which was a very sweet gesture. This dessert was a perfect ending! It was sweet, flaky, and warm and went SO nicely with the cookie dough ice cream on the side. Would highly recommend this! Overall it was a good dinner experience, but I'm not sure we're in a hurry to go back.

seriously such a hidden gem downtown, i go there every month and there’s very few people dining when i dine in however the restaurants atmosphere is beautiful and the place has wonderful seating of varying party sizes and the food is amazing - i have only had problems with the servers being infrequent with checking in but overall the place is lovely and would recommend for anyone to try.

Visited Char'd after a matinee show at the performing arts center. The food was excellent! Our server recommended the dumplings for an appetizer and she was spot on. Delicious and savory with a hint of spice. The crème fraiche dipping sauce was the perfect compliment to these. I had the glass noodles with beef and my wife had the bibimbap. The glass noodles were very tasty with a flavorful broth that was warm and rich. The bibimbap was fantastic! Unfortunately the egg was slightly over so it did not get to mix into the dish as intended. Aside from that the dish was amazing. crisp, crunchy rice at the bottom, fresh vegetables, and a delicious spicy sauce. We shared bites several times and there was plenty of bibimbap to take home as it is a huge dish. We are still enjoying it today! The atmosphere is nice and we were seated quickly for our early reservation. I highly recommend you check out Char'd if you are looking for a delicious dining experience!

Great food, great atmosphere. We came in for lunch and it was a bit understaffed, had to wait more time for our food, but other than that we had a great time there. Owner and bartender were really nice.

This restaurant is extremely disappointing. Firstly, the portion sizes are ridiculously small. Despite ordering five dishes for three people, we left feeling hungry. To make matters worse, we endured an excruciatingly slow dining experience, lasting over two and a half hours. The lack of efficiency was apparent from the moment we walked in - with no one to seat us, we stood around for a good ten minutes before being acknowledged. The service was abysmal; the lone waiter seemed indifferent, carelessly tossing plates onto our table without so much as a glance our way. To add insult to injury, we were automatically charged a 25% gratuity fee at the end, despite the appalling service. In summary, the service was atrocious, the attitude was appalling, and the food was far from satisfying.
